Ghalta's Devoted Army

A mix of voltron and stompy strategies. Indestructible creatures make sure you can get ghalta back after board wipes, and a lot of synergies with devotion. WIP :)

It's probably my slowest EDH deck but can become insane late game.

I try to cut down on ramp spells that only ramp by 1 mana. Most of these in this deck have other purposes. Birds of Paradise is a creature and ups our devotion. It also only costs one. Nature's Lore and Three Visits I might cut for more removal but they are good efficient ramp spells. Thought Vessel Helps a lot since most of the card draw in this deck comes in big bursts (Rishkar's Expertise Return of the Wildspeaker etc..) Heraldic Banner Buffs our creatures. Search for Tomorrow is very efficient and flexible.

Others are: Skyshroud Claim, Migration Path, Explosive Vegetation, Circuitous Route. (All Mostly the same)

Carpet of Flowers Can fluctuate a lot depending on the game but can be absurd for 1 mana. There's almost always at least one player with blue in their deck.

Sol Ring. Nuff' Said.

The Great Henge Does everything a green deck wants and more. Auto-include in any mono-green IMO.

This section will include buffs for all our creatures. 1 creature only goes in Voltron Strategies. :)

Most of the buffs in this deck are here mainly for other purposes. Heraldic Banner is slightly inefficient ramp that buffs all our creatures. Fangren Firstborn helps increase our devotion while repeatebly giving +1 +1 counters so it's very powerful in this deck. Gaea's Anthem. 3 mana to increase our green devotion by 2, buff all our creatures, and help hit Garruk's expertise triggers is very powerful. Renata, Called to the Hunt is mainly for purposes of cards like Return of the Wildspeaker and in tandem with Rogue's Passage Buffing our creatures is a nice side effect too :). Caged Sun is there for the mana doubling

[Insert meaningful intro here]

Repeatable Card Draw

Compost. Great in the right games. It's not often that there's no black on the board.

Colossal Majesty is a green phyrexian arena in this deck.

Garruk's Uprising Just another pushed m21 card. Auto-include in any stompy decks.

Beast Whisperer ^^^^^^^^

The Great Henge is Fyndhorn Elder, Grumgully, the Generous, and Beast Whisperer all stapled together for (a lot of the time) 2 mana.

Nylea, Keen-Eyed is there because it's high power and indestructible. It's activated ability is nice too.

Burst Card Draw

Return of the Wildspeaker and Rishkar's Expertise. Hope you have reliquary tower out.

Harmonize. 4 mana to refill our hand is quite nice.

Regal Force Draw cards, increase devotion, get a 5/5.
