Enchantment (79)

"This is art."

Going against the grain, Ghen is an artist in a violent world. He embraces the death that swirls around him and fuses it with everlasting life. He thrives on others’ chaos...

Ghen's craft requires eager fodder, and a graveyard filled with the biggest, nastiest, most beautifully horrific enchantments we can find in our binders. His greatest strength is allowing us to play enchantments from the GY at INSTANT SPEED.

Instead of trying to lockdown the board (working on an oppressive land hate sideboard), I prefer to play chaotic politics and deterrents until I have a WC primed. We’ll entice our opponents to attack each other and then reap the benefits with cards like Curse of Opulence and Curse of Chaos. Continue discarding or milling extra value enchantments (hide your WC’s until you’re ready) and cheat them out when threatened.

I'm still rotating and updating this list, but so far some of my favorites include Reconnaissance/Heliod, God of the Sun, Overwhelming Splendor, Lethal Vapors, Gravebreaker Lamia, Hedonist's Trove, Martyr's Bond, Grip of Chaos, Axis of Mortality/Wound Reflection, Enduring Ideal, Breath of Fury, and Eldrazi Conscription.

I’m trying to find a balance of ramp, curses, buffing/protection auras. Will run a Worldgorger Dragon combo for my playgroup. Suggestions welcome! If it’s not included, it’s not in my pool!

NTS: fix lands for budget, cut for more attack curses, dictate. Get a land tax and smothering tithe.
