Oblivion Ring: the Deck

Originally built by a friend, this deck has been modified over the years but attempts to keep its original premise. Utilizing Ghost Council of Orzhova's ability or any other sac outlet, certain cards can be combined and used in a similar fashion as Oblivion Ring's trick around its wording.

In case the Oblivion Ring trick needs to be explained:

O Ring Trick

Cast Oblivion Ring and have it resolve.

It's Enters the Battlefield ability triggers and goes on the stack; choose a target.

Respond to this ability by casting Into the Roil, Boomerang, or any effect that can remove the card from the battlefield.

Into the Roil resolves and returns the Oblivion Ring.

This will cause the Oblivion Ring's Leave the Battlefied ability to trigger.

The leave play trigger will resolve first (since it is on top of the stack), but nothing happens since nothing has been exiled yet.

The EtB ability resolves and exiles the permanent chosen earlier. it is now permanently exiled.

The wording on similar cards (Banishing Light, Banisher Priest, etc.) were made later with changed text to not allow for this interaction as the cards have only one trigger, and they automatically return the removed creature/permanent when its effect expires.

While these are not many cards, the secondary theme of the deck allows for a reanimate theme. Combined we can make use of our creatures and utilize them more than once easily in a game of EDH.
