Do companion stipulations not matter if they are in the 99? I thought you can't run things like Omniscience if you have Jegantha, the Wellspring in the deck

If a card with “Companion” is just a card in the deck as one of the 99 their Companion stipulation is N/A.

Am I missing something or is this deck missing 6 cards?

You aren't missing anything. It is still missing 6 cards. I haven't decided on what 6 I want to put in yet. If you have suggestions feel free.

With five colors, multicolor lands are usually super amazing. City of Brass, Mana Confluence, Prismatic Vista. As good as the triomes are, I feel like these would function better. +1

Glad to see a Jodah deck! Check out my Pioneer deck! I plan on playing it on MTGA Pioneer when it comes out, so when I play on that, I'll have a better manabase than what I have now.

Hi,

This is a very likeable deck, but I have a few questions:

  • How is it keeping up with the decks in your play-group, in terms of speed? My playgroup is very fond of casting cheap card-draw resources early in the game. I've noticed that your deck has a lot of ramp options and some mana-dorks, but very little in terms of early draw resources like Mystic Remora, Sylvan Library, Rhystic Study, etc. Just wondering whether this is ever an issue for you.
  • The deck includes almost no protection for Jodah. I'm not sure how instrumental he is to you in obtaining victory (your deck does have abundant mana resources and ramping options), but in my playgroup he usually doesn't get to live very long for one stretch at a time. Just interested to hear what your thoughts are on this.
  • How do you feel about adding Ramos, Dragon Engine into this deck? His activated ability pairs so well with Jodah's passive.

Hope to see you post more builds like these. Thanks.

Regards,

Great deck name!

Even though you have a solid mana base Cascading Cataracts and Crystal Quarry might come in handy.

Jodah is my favorite commander, so I kind of have a thing for giving feedback on other peoples Jodah decks.

First, Enter the Infinite. With Omniscience, it wins the game. My other suggestions are Sunbird's Invocation, Cast Through Time, Swarm Intelligence, Lurking Predators, Chromatic Lantern,Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves, (both are must-haves), Progenitus, Sphinx of the Second Sun, and Faeburrow Elder. I’ll stop now because at this point I’m basically just listing off all of the cards that I have in my deck that you don’t.

You can check out my Woah, where did THAT come from? Jodah deck if you want some more ideas.

Good luck!

If you find that you have fixing problems I think Cascading Cataracts would be a good include to really benefit off of your commander and Fist of Suns to guarantee you have perfect 5c fixing on turn five or off of Chromatic Orrery. Although it does seem you have a hefty amount of fixing already between the fetches and treasure tokens, so it might not be necessary. Nice looking build tho!

Thoughts on Jenson Carthalion, Druid Exile?

It's another source of magical fixing while also occassionally rewarding you with some Scry.

Thoughts on Conflux? Can potentially be too slow, but I find it very useful for tutoring Omniscience & a bunch of other power cards.

I think re=working the deck to where you can run white stax cards that keep people playing one card per turn would be best, considering that you have Jodah.
