I like it a lot, but that's because I love angels as a tribe. As for the lifegain, I'm not to fond of just life gain cards. You might want to look at some cards that have more then just that effect. Archangel of Thune is a good card, it combos with life gain, pumps your tokens, and is an angel. You definitely want to add more ramp, for example Sol Ring is a must have in any commander deck. Since your mono white, another good card would be Endless Horizons, searchers out plains.(Sorry for not linking the cards, I'm on my phone and I'm lazy)

That's pretty good advice! I will definitely have to look into gettin my hands on a copy of Endless Horizons, and may just have a spare Sol Ring to slip in. I will also take a look through my collection and see about some other life gain effects, I agree with you that the more things a card can do at once, the better. Are you suggesting things like more creatures with lifelink? Or should I try and stay away from messing with my creature list?

I think lifelink would be useful, but not super necessary. As for your creatures, Wall of Omens could be an include, as white doesn't have a lot of draw spells. If your big on the life gain aspect, Well of Lost Dreams is a card you might want to add.
As for spells, I'm not a fan of Rest for the Weary, as it doesn't do much in the end. I think you should add removal, for creatures and other permanents, such as Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, and Disenchant.
You also want board wipes, in the case that there are creatures that are over whelming you, such as Wrath of God, Day of Judgment. The good thing about these are that Avacyn, Angel of Hope makes your creatures indestructible so its basically a one sided effect.
For lands, Emeria, The Sky Ruin, is a great card in monowhite; every turn you get a creature back.
Sorry for the late response.

It's cool. If you're anything like me, my schedule is pretty full most of the time, so I fully understand.
I have a few of those cards, I will definitely take a look and see how to fit them in. Some of the others might take me a bit to get my hands on. I'm currently spending any extra cash I have on building a mono-black rat discard deck led by Marrow-Gnawer and a mono-white cat artifact and enchantment deck. But when those two are finished, I had planned on lookin to update a few of my orher decks, so I will probably focus on Avacyn, since she holds a special place in my heart as one of my first decks. :-)
Thank you so much for the advice. I had always wanted to update Avacyn, but couldn't think of how to do it. You have given me a lot of good ideas to go off of.

CrazyDanPsycho, thank you for your interest in my Giada deck. I thought I would take a look at yours and see if I had any suggestions.
Now, I totally understand the attachment to Avacyn. (I actually still have an Avacyn deck, too.) But the shift in commanders calls for a shift in the creature base. Avacyn does not really care about what type of creatures you are running. Giada does. She wants you to run angels. I don't know your budget is, so take whatever suggestions you think will fit with it.
Breathkeeper Seraph is good for recurring Giada (or any other special angel). Angelic Sleuth makes good use of your creatures with counters dying. Norn's Choirmaster proliferates your counters. Thraben Watcher gives a bonus and vigilance. Admonition Angel outdoes your Leonin Relic-Warder and is an angel. Angel of condemnation is another removal angel. And finally, a non-angel that helps you, even in a Giada deck, Bishop of Wings, which gives lifegain and tokens. For more token fun, and generally producing tokens at a better rate than Parhelion or Moonsilver Spear, we have Entreat the Angels, Finale of Glory, and Starnheim Unleashed. You are also missing the best life-gain Ajani. Ajani, Strength of the Pride.
If you want suggestions on what to cut, just let me know!

Vessiliana:Thanks for the encouragement and support. It really means a lot. I had looked through your deck and found a good amount of inspiration, which you mostly suggested. I am going to have to dig through my collection one of these days to see how many of those cards I have, and how many I need to see if I can pick up...

Glad you found something! Giada is just so fun, and she plays out, in my experience, even more interestingly than Avacyn.

Might as well add Gisela, the Broken Blade Meld since Bruna is here haha :)

Love your deck, as a fellow Giada fan! I would, however, suggest that (because Giada enjoyers are often the most hated person at the table outside of Esper stax) you add some recursion abilities, such as Faith's Reward or Emeria Shepherd. Trust me, it is the funniest thing to counter a boardwipe with. Best of luck out there!
