Your mana base can't support your deck consistently, to go with a deck that runs so much red, but runs so many non red spells in playtesting I felt that all the shock lands were a must. The deck also should be running at least 4 more land (though it did play more like a deck that wanted 25), and it really should have some form of removal.

I would also suggest cutting Awaken the Ancient ... probably to fill the land issue (remember hammer is just a bad Fervor without some extra lands). The mana base is too stretched thin to support a triple red (quadruple if you want the word haste to be relevant).

If budget is an issue for the land base I'd suggest cutting a color which overall would actually help the deck run smoother even if budget isn't an issue, if lifegain is an issue sideboard Skullcrack s.

Definitely needs more efficient creatures; from my experience, the damage done by both Fanatic of Mogis and Purphoros, God of the Forge are too slow for the current meta. If you're hell-bent on keeping the burn aspect of both guys, I suggest Boros Reckoner to increase your devotion, along with Burning-Tree Emissary or Ash Zealot and Chandra's Phoenix . These are all good red devotion that would help you burn for more and ensure Purphy is activated. The token production of Assemble the Legion is brutal paired with Purphoros, God of the Forge , and is a 4 turn clock if your opponent is at 20.
