I like the deck. There are a few weak cards, in my opinion... Like helm of possession seems weird. I like a couple cards enough to consider for my Deck. Like grafted war gear looks neat. Ect.

Sorry for the double post. Dictate of Erebos is a flash grave pact for 5. I'll suggest more cards tomorrow.

Helm of Possession is there to steal an opponent's creature for 2 and then sacrifice it to Gisa (or use it if it's a really nice creature). Kills a threat and makes me zombies for 2B and a disposable zombie.

Fair enough.

I really like your build. I am running Gisa in a Halloween theme EDH im putting together but chances are I will build Zombie Tribal with her afterwards. So far this is the strongest looking Zom Tribal I've seen on here.

The only card I don't love here are Coffin Queen . Coffin queen is easily replaced with something like Sheoldred, Whispering One or Gravespawn Sovereign . They are more expensive yes but their effects are repeatable and you are lacking in creature size overall. Being able to reanimate and sacrifice creatures with Gisa repeatedly will be nice.

Necrosavant is another creature to consider. He is a zombie and can be repeatedly brought back to be sacked.

Just my thoughts, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the suggestions! I've been considering replacing Coffin Queen for a while now and I guess this just strengthens my decision.

I'll make the change when I get home.

Omfg.... You should name this "The Deck of Pure Evil!" I love the synergy, but you might want to add some more reanimate spells to keep your zombie horde running other then that iL won't wanna face it lol.

I like this. Gisa seems awesome when you can spew out Zombie tokens like crazy. Somebody asked if they could sac My only real doubt is whether Whip of Erebos is necessary or not. It seems like with less than 1/4 of your deck list devoted to creatures, it may not be the most necessary as far as the reanimation goes, although the lifegain is probably nice.

My gut would be to make room for Liliana Vess. Her tutor ability is too good to ignore, although Increasing Ambition would probably be just as good (if not better.) Going to get Zombie Master and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is going to end some games. What do you think?

Anti-Christ - Thanks for the feedback! I played it last night and it was great. I had more reanimate in the deck like Dawn of the Dead and Sheoldred, Whispering One, but I actually turned out to have too much reanimation available. Took those out for some kill spells, which I was sorely missing.

MindAblaze! - Thanks for the suggestions! Whip of Erebos is in just because I enjoyed the lifelink so much in my Nekusar Group Slug deck. The reanimation is a great bonus for this deck too. I usually try to play it just before a big swing to get way out of kill range and have my opponents rely on Commander damage to win.

I've tried to steer away from tutors because I like EDH to be fairly random and more casual, but I can see how having one would be good in a pinch or stalemate. I'll give Liliana Vess or Increasing Ambition a shot. Thanks for the recommendation!

Sweet deck man. You ever consider Army of the Damned as a finisher? I'm not super up to date with EDH but i thought playing a few more finishers might be good. In EDH you'll gain more mana , especially with Cabal Coffers. I know you want low CMC spells and creatures but a few more higher CMC powerful spells might help. I could be wrong, so take it with a grain of salt. Good luck man! Zombies FTW! :)

I had Army of the Damned before, but decided to instead put more creatures I could sacrifice to Gisa and make zombies that way. I might re-add it, as a way to establish a board if Gisa is unavailable. The only thing that sucks about it is that I won't be able to do anything with them until the following turn since they don't have haste.

Thanks for the feedback!

I highly recommend Mimic Vat. It's just way too much fun to pass up. Target Grave Titan and get 10 zombies (minimum) for 4 mana per turn. Target Rune-Scarred Demon and tutor for the perfect hand. Target Gray Merchant of Asphodel and watch the life totals swing. If nothing else, everyone will be focused on removing it over anything else you may have out. These are all creatures that I enjoy targeting and you have plenty that you could benefit from copying, such as Fleshbag Marauder.

Another card I suggest is Mikaeus, the Unhallowed. Double dipping on your sacrifices is perfect in the early game and devastating once you play Coat of Arms. I mean, after that's on the field, Mikaeus can begin swinging for lethal with intimidate! Now THAT'S a threat.

Overall, a good looking deck. Gisa is probably my favorite commander to play with, so I'm certainly a fan.If you'd care to take a look at my current deck to maybe get some ideas here's a link.

Thanks for the feedback!

I had Mikaeus, the Unhallowed before but every time he was in my hand, I had something better to cast. Undying is nice but I only ever played him when he was the last card in my hand. I had considered Mimic Vat before and after you made those good points, I will most likely cut something to fit it in.

I feel like Phyrexian Ghoul deserves a mainboard slot. As in the case of a mass "all creatures get -x/-x" that would off all of your tokens, you can sac all of your tokens and anything else that would get offed that way to buff him, and then after it resolves sac him with Gisa and pretty much double your tokens.

However that could just be me with the prevalence of mass "-x/-x" cards in my play group.

Either way, a very good deck and has certainly given me ideas for my own Gisa deck.

@YoshiCline: Thanks for the feedback! I originally had Fallen Ideal for such a situation, but never saw myself in a situation to use it. Most of the removal in my group are straight up board wipes that would still kill whatever came out from it. In your group, it sounds like it and Phyrexian Ghoul would be good additions to have.

I've never seen Fallen Ideal, but it's now on my wishlist.

Thanks!
