This started off as a Gisela 1v1 EDH deck using the French banlist and rules. I still mostly play it in the 1v1 format; however, I've also played it with some nice success in multiplayer. I don't think I have anything on the American banlist, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

With Born of the Gods out, I have been doing some trading & came across these cards:

Fated Conflagration Oracle of Bones Forgestoker Dragon Archetype of Aggression Eidolon of Countless Battles Archetype of Courage Fated Retribution Planar Cleansing Plea for Guidance

Fated Conflagration seems a little high, costing 4 mana. However, instant speed is always nice. If it was 3 mana, I would consider it more, but right now I'm thinking this is a no.

Oracle of Bones is a 3/1 (plus a free instant/sorcery) or a 5/3. Nice that it has haste. I'm on the fence. I don't know what creature I would take out for it though.

Similar situation with Forgestoker Dragon. I like the ability to lock down potential blockers. But a 6-drop, 5/4 flier? I think what I current have is better.

Archetype of Aggression - trample for me, and not for anyone else? Sounds good. Too bad it's a creature. But it's a 3-drop, 3/2 creature. Still easy to take out. Maybe. Leaning on yes.

I'm also leaning towards a no on Eidolon of Countless Battles. Sure it could pump up Gisela or another creature, but it's not going to make something +20/+20. And I don't have a lot of things with trample (unless Archetype of Aggression is out, but now things are too situational).

Archetype of Courage - first strike is good. Not having it would be bad. But it's a 3-drop 2/2 creature that can be taken out easily. Maybe.

Fated Retribution is great. If it was a 6-drop, it would be better. Instant speed is really nice, and the scry 2 is good as well. Pull Wrath of God for this?

Similar is Planar Cleansing - but for 6 instead of 7 mana. And it takes care of enchantments and artifacts. Which has is pros/cons. and it's a sorcery. Again, switch Wrath of God for this?

Finally, Plea for Guidance I think will be really useful here in EDH; not so much in 60-card. A 6-drop tutor for two enchantments. I could get Blood Moon and Manabarbs or Hammer of Purphoros and Heliod, God of the Sun or any number of fun things. I have two tutors currently: Enlightened Tutor and Idyllic Tutor - throwing in a third that brings two out sounds good. Now what to take out...
