Maybeboard

So this is my commander deck, I made it because I love angels, and this deck is full of them. So basically, this deck can function without the commander, but it's just more fun to have her in play.

So there is quite a bit of mana ramp in the deck, like Mana Flare, Gauntlet of Power, Caged Sun and Extraplanar Lens which this deck does need, being that angels are quite expensive to play for the most part.

Then there is the mana fix for the deck, like Chromatic Lantern, Coalition Relic, Darksteel Ingot and guilded lotus on top of lands which can produce either color. The reason for the mana fix is mainly due to the fact that this is a mostly white deck, but it sometimes requires red and I very much like having the capability of producing either color so I am not screwed when I need it.

Now, there is many powerful angels in this deck that are thrown in because, like I said, I love me the angels. But where most of the angel's strength falls is into one of the few general categories, being: Exiling cards (Admonition Angel, Angel of Finality), General Control (Angel of Jubilation, Basandra, Battle Seraph, Blinding Angel, Chancellor of the Annex , Iona, Shield of Emeria, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Sunblast Angel ), General Good for other angels (Angelic Skirmisher, Aurelia, the Warleader, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Herald of War, Reya Dawnbringer, Sublime Archangel , Victory's Herald) and finally, cards that are for lifelink (Baneslayer Angel, Angelic Skirmisher (again), Archangel of Thune, Firemane Angel )

The lifelink given to cards is mainly to 1. Stay in the game longer and 2. to combo it with Angelic Accord, Archangel of Thune and if possible Ajani Goldmane or Ajani, Caller of the Pride. Then there is also the Angelic Chorus which can help with the Angelic Accord and if it does, it can gain you another four life.

Then there is finally the last few cards that are in there just for fun, like Crackdown and Blind Obedience to tap your opponents big creatures, Wrath of God and Elspeth Tirel to board wipe, but I would not suggest to do so unless you have Avacyn, Angel of Hope or unless you absolutely need to. Elspeth, Sun's Champion to make some chump blockers and to eventually use with Devout Invocation . Akroma's Memorial to give your creatures a little umph and finally the Sword of Feast and Famine to make your creatures a little more scary, make an opponent discard a card and to give you some lands to tap again and cast some more angels.

I hope you like my deck, feel free to leave some advice if you want, but I warn you now, I don't want to add any non-angel creatures to this deck as the whole point of the deck is that it is centered around angels.

Enjoy :)
