When I first learned about Commander, I knew I was going to enjoy playing it, but I had no idea on where to start. Then at my Avacyn draft, I pulled a Gisela Blade of Goldnight and knew that that's where I was going.

The deck plays pretty straight-forward. Ramp my mana as quickly as possible, and then drop big fat angels on everyone's head.

It's got the capabilities to slow the game down, with cards like the Angelic Arbiter, Curse of Exhaustion, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Blind Obedience and Grand Abolisher which help keep the blue decks under control as well as allow me to play my stuff on my turn.

The Lifelink form Ajani's Sunstriker, Batterskull, Archangel of Thune and Angelic Skirmisher help keep me in the game after a usually slow start, while Reya Dawnbringer and Sword of Light and Shadow can bring anything important that got sent to the graveyard back.

Spot removal like Chained to the Rocks, Path of Exile and Swords to Plowshares are great cards that knock things out of my way.

All of the damage prevention is, in my opinion, underrated in commander because I can't count on both hands the amount of times that Holy Day has stopped an opponent for swinging for the win against multiple players.

I'm thinking Aurelia might possibly be a better choice for a commander? thoughts?
