Glarb, Calamity's Augur CEDH
Copied Primer:
Hahaha we don't give a damn about the new bans!!
OK we are feeling froggy so here we go.
Glarb is gonna be an interesting test. Right now we have essentially 3 ways to plan our attack, all of which are pretty layered so pivots are fairly easy.
First and foremost, obviously this is a Thassa's oracle/consultation/pact deck. You all know how that works already. Secondly, Glarb has a surveil ability that we will be popping off every time we can, filling our yard with important reanimation targets, and because it is surveil, we can leave the cards we want to keep on top. Because of this, we have lines with Razaketh, and Hoarding Broodlord.
Raz: Simplest line is reanimate raz, sacrifice a creature (even glarb works for this line, you only need one) searching for thoracle, sacrifice thoracle to raz when it's etb is on the stack, and search up consultation. This is not the recommended option unless you have free counter magic already in hand, but each creature you have on the board besides glarb and raz allow for more tutors, effectively getting you the interaction you need.
Broodlord: when you hit the battlefield with broodlord, search up saw in half, cut the dragon in two, tutor up sacrifice and peer into the abyss, cast peer and half the deck ought to have the cards needed to find a win. Alternatively, when you saw in half, tutor for thoracle and consultation/pact (only if you already have mana and protection.) or if the board state makes sense, culling ritual can make more mana than sacrifice. My personal favorite is to search the two cards from the final combo;
Dramatic Scepter. Isochron scepter and dramatic reversal. as long as you have the ability to make 3 mana via non-land permanents, this combo makes infinite mana and infinite untaps. Infinite mana is nice, but we don't have an outlet for it. for this particular deck, there are two reasons to still run this option. First, since we have ad nauseum and peer into the abyss options available to us, infinite is always enough to cast all the cards we see. But more importantly, with the untap effect, we can use Glarb as the same effect as a Hermit Druid. By surveilling 2 infinitely, we can put our entire deck into our GY, and technically we can order it along the way, and play (some) of the cards from the top as well. Example, you have made the combo start, you are at infinite mana and you start surveilling. Your top two cards are Dregscape Zombie and Hoarding Broodlord. you want that zombie in yard for its unearth anyway, so you drop that one and leave the dragon on top, then with your infinite mana, you cast it from the top of your library. The best part is, you don't have to worry about lands getting in the way like with a bolas citadel, you just toss them in the GY. GLARB MUST NOT BE SUMMONING SICK ON THIS ATTEMPT. For those who don't know, the way to win once the entire deck is in the yard is to use dread return to reanimate thassas oracle, the inclusion of narcomoeba and dregscape zombie is purely to facilitate this option. (not currently in list, may not be necessary to run these dead cards, can usually find a win while surveiling)
Valley floodcaller is bad ass, AND can untap glarb for a manual way to surveil more.
