I wouldn't trust it personally.
The land base needs to provide a red or a black mana on turn 1 in an ideal situation, Reflecting Pool is a bit of a dead land if it's first on the field.

you do know that Lightning Axe only deals damage to creatures, right?

Borborygmos Enraged better play than Chancellor of the Tangle also would give u another target outside the demon. i have won plenty of games with Borborygmos Enraged on turn two. also if u have three or 4 mana and your drawing with Griselbrand and u get another vengence u can just play Borborygmos Enraged as well and just discard your lands for the win. turn one looting putting Borborygmos Enraged in grave and having a bunch of land in hand most liking will finish them.

Just out of curiosity, what are your hardest match ups and how to you board against them? What comes in seem fairly obvious but what comes out? It seems like almost everything here is an integral piece of getting your combo online. Also +1, mad style and creativity points!

So I played against a guy who had a variant of this at a PPTQ.
I'm not blaming you but we went to time because he took WAY too long to figure out what he was doing. For example he took 60 seconds to figure out that he was going to reanimate a Griselbrand to block with.
Love the deck, I just think people need to learn to play stuff before playing stuff.

Just remember you can always call a judge if someone is taking too much time. Just be like, "I'm really sorry... Judge!"

What's your take on Taigam's Scheming being used in this deck? I'm not sure what's being replaced, but it seemed to work fairly decent against me once or twice.

I wouldn't put Taigam's Scheming in this build, it does however fuel the Narset variant, and in my personal build I have found it to be very useful, where I'm trying to get there turn 2 or 3 with more consistency to combat a heavy control meta, but it can still be interrupted. This build wants to go off turn 2 at the latest, every time. Taigam's Scheming would hold it back.

Good golly, this is cool! But it needs Leyline of Sanctity. You could really use hexproof here, what with all the Thoughtseizes and Inquisition of Kozileks running around Modern. Either way, it's a really godhand-ish combo. What's the fastest it can win (other than its T1 win)?

What would you say the win percentage with this deck is?

@Tyrannosary i played a similar build for a year or so, i would guess it's pretty low. all about what u get matched up against but a good amount of the decks u face will have a good amount hate and or cards to stop what u are doing, it's not very competitive imo in a large pool of players, u might do alright at a small fnm or something like that where nobody is ready for it.

Would Reflecting Pool be a good option in this deck or no room for it at all? My idea was that since Forbidden Orchard and Gemstone Mine can produce any colour that Reflecting Pool technically should be able to aswell
