I built this list a while back and I've been working on it since I've changed a lot and got more of a consistent turn 3-4 turn combo out win by runnin worldspine wurm with nourishing shoal I run 4 tormenting voice, 4 faithless looting, 1 nights whisper, and 4 manamorphose as draw and the manamorphose fixes my mana from desperate ritual and spirit guides. I run 4 grisel, 4 worldspine, 2 bobo enraged, 1 emrakul. Through the breach is a must and footsteps of goryo is worthless... A lot of the original deck list is horrible now that I look back but it was a good concept

Absolutely love it! +1 I may build a budget version for FNM.

I may be completely off with this, but could you swap Chancellor of the Tangle with Autochthon Wurm to max out your plus off of Nourishing Shoal? Or use Iname as One since its the biggest Green Legendary in Modern which would give you another Time of Need target? I had several turn 2 hands where I already had Griselbrand in my discard and I had Nourishing Shoal and Time of Need in hand with 2 lands and nothing to do when I could search and plus 12 life instead of passing turn. It's a rare scenario, but it did come up quite a few times when I tested it.

This deck is amazing. I'm so glad you posted it. I love decks that do crazy things and this is definitely crazy while also being very competitive. Great Job.

Autochthon Wurm was in the original build of the deck years ago, when I ran Seething Song into Through the Breach. Time of Need wasn't even in the deck list until I made the swap to Footsteps of the Goryo to focus purely on reanimation.

14 life seemed like overkill a lot of the time, and Chancellor of the Tangle allowed for extra acceleration to play Time of Need turn 1.

I think If I was going to swap out for Chancellor of the Tangle anything it might be Borborygmos Enraged simply because he's another win condition as well as RG to toss with Nourishing Shoal and Fury of the Horde.

This deck was my first competitive deck in modern (like 2 years ago) and I made a lot of enemies due to its unfair playstyle. People just feel impotence when this deck works but there's a lot of hateful cards that easily disrupt your only win condition: Griselbrand (that's why I stoped playing it). A simple Pithing Needle makes you cry a lot...anyway, I made a lot of turn 2 kills and I specially remember a turn 1 kill in a tournament, all this things bring me good memories, so thank you!

Interesting take on the Grishoalbrand deck. I have always loved how it plays. The only problem I see with this build is that it doesn't have that many win conditions, unlike the original which had two (sure you still had to use Griselbrand for both of them). Overall interesting take on an already enormously interesting deck! Why don't you use Worldspine Wurm?
