I would suggest Through the Breach in the board. Rest in Peace does a great job of just shutting this whole strategy down, and bringing in Through the Breach and Boseiju, Who Shelters All gives you a great long game strategy against decks who are looking to disrupt you with graveyard hate.

Oh hey, before I said I didn't understand how this deck worked.
Coincidentally, I made a deck with the EXACT SAME WIN CONDITION a few days ago.
I see this deck a second time, and now it's all clear.
+1
(just be aware that I didn't rip off of you, it was coincidental)

Great job man, play tested it 5 or 6 times and won on turn 2 or 3 almost every time.

think i've heard of these builds before, nice deck. +1. Isn't there a legacy version that uses Goryo's Vengeance and Nicol Bolas ?

Nicol Bolas is Modern legal so if you want to use him there's no reason not to, however he doesn't have the game stopping power that Griselbrand provides

One problem I saw with this deck was consistency. I had a very hard time winning turn 4 with this deck. Unless I'm doing something wrong, then...

True it isn't the most consistent deck, sometimes you just can't find a reanimation spell or sometimes you just can't find discard, with 8 of each though there is a lot of redundancy. The problem compared to a lot of other combo decks is the cards don't do much on their own without eachother. Compared to Splinter Twin which at least runs removal, counters and dig or Birthing Pod which plays more like a Midrange deck with a combo finish, Glass Cannon really is an all or nothing strategy, sometimes you get lucky on the draws, sometimes you literally don't do anything the entire game. There are a few tricks which can help (like skipping your first land drop to discard EOT), but time has proven that this deck isn't incredibly playable in competitive settings due to it's tendency to fizzle.

Thanks,
If there were better reanimation spells available in Modern I might consider them, however after Goryo's Vengeance and Footsteps of the Goryo there's only really Makeshift Mannequin and Unburial Rites left over. While each of them has their place (Unburial Rites is a very powerful card), I think the Kamigawa spells fit the use of this deck perfectly because if I'm reanimating Griselbrand there's a good chance he won't even manage to get exiled cause he should be winning me the game before my turns over.

This deck is super cool!! I keep beating it turn 4 every time though with my mill deck after a glimpse and 2 Mind Funeral due to the low land count... Though I don't believe that I am playing the deck right o.O

I actually love matching up against Mill usually. My whole deck revolves around having Griselbrand in the graveyard, so long as I have a Goryo's Vengeance or Footsteps of the Goryo in my hand and you haven't made me mill too many of my Soul Spike or Fury of the Horde the deck can usually clock out before mill has gotten a huge start, Mind Funeral does hurt though.

I really like this idea. I've seen a few other decks that utilize Griselbrand's ability, particularly involving an infinite combo, like "Tin Fins". But I really like what you've done here. I haven't seen Pact of Negation used in a long time and it's a great card for a single-turn game-win scenario. Very nice card selection, although it IS weak to discard. But I agree with you that there is not really much you can do about that other than have some hand destruction spells of your own! +1
