Yeah I considered the staff, still might put it in. seems pretty good.
And the cap is just too good to pass up, get rid of up to three infinite combo pieces, or just game winning cards, possibly every turn.
The nighthawk is in just because he is a good creature, he'll probably be one of the first to go once I find better things to put in. But until then he's an impossible wall for the most part.

Another point in favor of Thornbite Staff : it curves well with Glissa.T2: Thornbite StaffT3: GlissaT4 equip staff, murder entire board for fun and profit.
I'm also a little confused about Traveler's Amulet . Is there any reason you're running that over Wayfarer's Bauble ? I find that playing the land for free is worth an extra mana.

No reason really, I had the bauble but I made cuts a while back and was tossing up between the two, I though I cut the amulet rather than the bauble then just kind of put it in the back of my mind. So yeah it should be the bauble.
and yeah the staff can be nice for the curve, killing a few things on turn 5 is pretty schweet. mostly responding to zur triggers and what not, same reason I run Triangle of War deathtouch fighting, but it only shines when they cant out power 3, the staff offers a bit more, although i do like multiple instances.

Is there any specific reason you're running Jester's Cap ? I used to run that, but I cut it because it slowed down the game when I had to search through an unfamiliar deck.
Vampire Nighthawk feels a little on the weak side to me. It's a creature that does basically the same job as Glissa does on defense, except that Nighthawk can fly. I'd be ok with this normally, but Nighthawk costs the same as Glissa, so it is a little awkward for your mana curve.
Thornbite Staff is hilarious with Glissa. Just saying.
