Major updates to the deck —Aug. 19, 2012
I made some major changes to the list today. I discovered my weakness to mono-green infect and other blitzing creature decks. I usually can't stay alive long enough to stabilize and take over the game. So I made a lot of changes to make the deck more resilient to fast aggro decks.
I also discovered at FNM that I dislike Black Sun's Zenith getting rid of my creatures as well. I'm spoiled with one-sided board wipes (thank you Bonfire of the Damned). I didn't want to splash red for bonfires, so instead I made room for Melira, Sylvok Outcast. Her and Glissa with Black Sun's Zenith punish creature decks.
I cut a few lands, a few Mycosynth Wellsprings, a few Solemn Simulacrums, and one Mindslaver and Perilous Myr to make room for two Melira's, three Tumble Magnets, a Staff of Nin, and three Pristine Talismans. I also sideboarded a Batterskull for a Thragtusk (it's better against Delver match-ups).
I'm really liking the new list. Please tell me what you think. I'm always looking for ways to improve my games.
