Glissa, the Traitor

Commander / EDH*

serrasin

The goal of this deck is to make an environment where it is difficult for the opponents to build their board position while also attacking their hand. The deck attempts to use the general's recursive ability both as a means of keeping threats on the table while also keeping cards in hand for discard; mitigating the damage of global effects.

At this point I would like to increase the quality of my creatures. I am also concerned about the relatively low count of targeted removal effects.

I have continued to work on the deck and trim it down. I've focused on giving the deck a greater density of cards which can be used to finish out a game. The deck doesn't have any combos per-se, but I feel that it will have a good density of cards which will make for an oppressive board state which I can enjoy card advantage and tempo. Some of the cards I feel are weaker are Liliana's Reaver and Tribute to the Wild, but it's getting to the point where I've combed that card pool and fail to find better replacements unless I find myself needing a completely different effect. I am also still trying to keep my mana costs down, so am wary of anything which costs five or more mana.

Memory Jar is a possibility. The card is a house, and Glissa could recur it.
