Mid power Glissa, the Traitor artifact reanimator deck. Game plan is to out-value the opponent, and loop artifacts. Think Death by One Thousand Cuts, instead of an infinite combo instant win. This deck is very grindy and heavily reliant on sacrificing its permanents. I think this deck has reached an upper limit on how strong it can get, at least until New Phyrexia 2, Electric Boogaloo.

I am very happy with where this deck is right now with one major exception. As it was, it could not go infinite independently of my opponent's board states. I wanted to keep it that way, but doing so meant that the game would often take 2+ hours due to the deck's grindy nature. I was fine with that, but I happened to find a Nim Deathmantle in my collection, and added it as a way to quickly close out games when people stop having fun.

Ramp/Search - Cards that get me more mana or allow me to dig deeper into the deck than the normal 1 card per turn.

Cards I cut, and why I cut them Show

Bow of Nylea - Its just not very synergistic with the deck. Good card on its own, but not great for the deck.

Chromatic Lantern - I kind of really don't care all that much about colored mana production, the vast majority of my costs are colorless.

Dryad Arbor - It doesn't play into my game plan overly well. Feels bad for it to be my only early game green source.

Go for the Throat - I have enough targeted removal, especially with Executioner's Capsule.

Grim Backwoods - I have better ways to draw cards and sacrifice creatures, and would rather sacrifice artifacts instead anyway.

Hissing Quagmire - I can count on my fingers the number of times animating man-lands has been relevant to my game plan, and that's for all of my decks. It's just not relevant here.

Lotus Bloom - Too slow to loop. I don't have a lot of ways to loop from yard to field, just to hand.

Manalith - I have better mana rocks available, and again, don't overly care about colored mana.

Miren, the Moaning Well - I would rather sacrifice my artifacts, and have better ways of gaining life.

Spine of Ish Sah - Much too expensive for my tastes, and I have better targeted removal.

Unstable Obelisk - See Spine of Ish Sah.

Verdurous Gearhulk - The primary targets for the counters are usually Wurmcoil Engine and Scuttling Doom Engine, both of which I want to be killing and bringing back frequently.

Whip of Erebos - Good in a vacuum, not great in this deck specifically.

Woodweaver's Puzzleknot - I have better ways of gaining life, and the only other card in the deck that cares about energy, Aetherworks Marvel, gets me all the energy I need for it.

Cards I added, and why I added them Show

Ancient Stirrings - Most of my artifacts are colorless, and worst case, so are lands.

Casualties of War - Highly modal, if somewhat expensive, targeted removal.

Culling Ritual - Good board wipe for those pesky utility artifacts and enchantments, and sets me up for an explosive turn.

Damnation - Good, generic, creature wipe. Most of my value is in non creature artifacts, so I don't particularly mind loosing my creatures. Glissa also sees everything else die so I probably get most of my dead artifacts back to my hand.

Disciple of the Vault - It's Blood Artist, but for artifacts.

Phyrexian Scriptures - Good utility, and sets up a good board wipe if it survives a rotation. If it survives two rotations, it is even better.

Priest of Yawgmoth - Good ramp in theory, testing will determine if its actually good in this deck.

Revel in Riches - Alternate win-con, I think it will be surprisingly easy to get to ten treasures.

Scrapheap - I intend to sacrifice artifacts very often. This will gain me lots of life.

Steel Hellkite - Good size beater, and a potential board wipe when needed.

Traxos, Scourge of Kroog - Great early game beater, and will be really easy for me to untap.

Treasure Keeper - Cascade but on death, and I have lots of targets that cost 3 or less.

Ugin, the Ineffable - Makes my artifacts cheaper, and grants me spot removal. I dont anticipate using the +1 much, but it is good utility.

Vraska, Golgari Queen - Spot removal, a sacrifice outlet, and lifegain. I do not expect to use her ultimate, but its a good way to close out a game if it ever happens.

Cards I am considering adding Show

Arcbound Ravager - A fantastic sacrifice outlet for my artifacts. Can also make something more threatening when it dies.

Cabal Paladin - 44 of the cards in the current 99 are historic, and many of these are low cost artifacts that I can easily loop.

Deadly Dispute - Card draw and an instant speed sacrifice outlet. Also pays partly for itself with the treasure.

Grim Tutor - Non-revealing tutor to hand. The life cost is largely negligible for me. This strikes a good balance between power and dollar cost for me. The other option I am considering for this slot is Wishclaw Talisman. The decision of which to include will come down to how regularly I will be able to sacrifice the talisman before giving it to my opponents.

Ingenuity Engine - Can hit anything in my deck other than All is Dust or Mycosynth Golem on the cascade, and allows me to dodge removal. Can also loop itself back to hand.

Jhoira's Familiar - Another option for Foundry Inspector's effect.

Junk Diver - Another option for Myr Retriever's effect.

Liquimetal Torque - Mana rock that can also be utility down the line.

Mishra's Self-Replicator - An admittedly expensive way to build a board state. The tokens also make great sacrifice fodder for Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks

Myriad Construct - Being commander, this will typically enter huge when I kick it. It will also usually be sacrificed immediately making me an instant board presence.

Ratchet Bomb - Scalable board wipe. Particularly good at 0, because that is what most tokens will be.

Scrap Trawler - Makes all my artifacts into Myr Retrievers.

Treasure Vault - Artifact Land that generates treasures. Very strong in this deck.

Underhanded Designs - Lets me drain opponents for just doing what my deck wants to do anyway, and can serve as spot removal if needed.

Cards I am considering cutting. Show

Beseech the Queen - The only search effect in the deck without restrictions, but its not a particularly good one. I want to replace this with a better tutor.

Ichor Wellspring and Mycosynth Wellspring - I do not have a particularly reliable way to sacrifice non-creature artifacts that cannot sacrifice themselves, other than Krark-Clan Ironworks, so these are less effective than I want them to be. I also only have 14 basic lands, and plenty of other ways to get them into play, so Mycosynth Wellspring falls especially flat.

Mycosynth Golem - He's not a great beater, and though the affinity is nice, it is only on creatures. Most of the utility artifacts I want to be looping are not creatures, so it is less helpful. The best thing I have seen him do is eat a removal spell that would have otherwise targeted something I care about more.

Nihil Spellbomb or Tormod's Crypt- I will probably cut one of these, because they do largely the same thing as one another. They are only particularly useful if I have one or more opponents playing out of their graveyards, and even then, I don't need both of them.

Shimmer Myr - It's good, but I find I usually tap out on my turn unless I am holding a combat trick or kill spell, so granting artifacts flash isn't very good for me.

Vraska, Golgari Queen - I played her several times while testing this deck, and her abilities fell a bit short of my expectations. Drawing a card and gaining one life is fine, but I usually have better payoffs than that for sacrificing my permanents, and I found very few relevant targets for her -3.
