Deck needs lingering souls, i did some testing with this, and whenever you curved 1drop 2drop lingering souls angel, you just autowon the game.the thing about the angel, is that it is usually your most viable creature to swing with late game because it has flying. unfortunately you can not risk losing it to a dismember and a delver.so the lingering souls provide ~4 exalted triggers AND defense/offense.
Side Note: I would consider playing 1-2 evolving wilds and 1 vault of the archangel.

Stuck on my phone right now. But thinking of Ajani> Paladin. Try Lingering Soyks back in. t1 Parish, t2 Abolisher, t3 Ajani +1/+1 on parish, t4 angel +1/+1 on angel (puts her out of slagstorm range), t5 Lingeringg Souls + flashback -> -3 Ajani -> 12/11 double strike in the air. plus Ajani could be more flexible than Psladin, only drawback is he isn't a creature spell.

He may not a creature, but with 20+ creatures already that pump Champion he does add flexibility as you mentioned. Almost enough to make up for the loss of Angelic Destiny in Standard.

I was thinking more in reference to it being more difficult to score WW t3 without cavern. Plus cavern doesn't make him uncounterable. If they don't print good kill spells in RTR, this iteration is done for anyway.

So far I'm not feeling Ajani, but I haven't been able to test a whole lot and cockatrice really sucks to test on. One thing I do like about Ajani is that he helps me have a bit of a stronger late game. If my opponent board wipes his creatures are gone and so are mine, but I've got Ajani. Thanks to the wording of his + whatever, I can use it without having a creature on board, and then eventually drop off a few cat tokens to finish the deal; however, I'd like an answer or two more for mid to late game, since I often find the problem with this deck is that period, should I not be able to take the opponent down quickly.

Champion of the Parish and Gather the Townsfolk are typically a package, if you want one of them, you need all 8. The extra creatures also helps out for Sublime Archangel . I also think the flexibility of Lingering Souls -- late game draw getting four guys on the board, adding to exalted also, and keeping a flashback option in case of board wipes -- is definitely worth keeping in.
Is this supposed to be an early, mid, or late game deck?
You mentioned you thought Ajani, Caller of the Pride was too slow, but you have Essence Harvest . If you're intending to win early, you're never going to want that card in your hand, and you'll wish you had a more offense based card (which Ajani is since you can use his second ability immediately without dying, and it goes awesome with exalted).

Very nice put-together, here. It was very easy with land and creatures made everything else better! Didn't see much or any Oblivion Ring s, though. It might be something to consider, at least in your sideboard. I like it, even without. +1

The idea behind running 8 Knights of X was that I could have a more efficient and synergistic Champion of the Parish - Gather the Townsfolk relationship going on, I don't know how much I'd benefit from running Gather, at least any more than any other card (plus Gather is pretty underwhelming without Champion's buff). What I like about Essence Harvest is that it essentially doubles a turn's damage. Say I drop Archangel turn 4, then swing for like 8 damage or something on turn 5. Then play essence harvest and deal another 8 damage and gain 4 life. If I run it in the final edit, I probably won't as the current 3 of, but a 1 or 2 of is a definite possibility. I do like Doomed Traveler and I have been intermittently testing him. I think I'll be reworking my sideboard soon.

What do you plan on changing when Return to Ravnica comes out and the New Phyrexia block is cycled out? I know your Dismember and Go for the Throat cards will be gone.
Also is Grand Abolisher also in M13 or is M12 not being cycled out soon?

It's cycling out. I don't think I will run this deck post-rotation. If I do exalted it will probably be a creature heavy g/w deck instead, with Thalia mainboard. Depending on what we see in RTR I guess a b/w version with Thalia mainboarded and few spells is possible, but Rancor is so fucking great with exalted. I don't even know if I'll find exalted to be worth playing without my favoritist hate bear Grand Abolisher .

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Also for Grand Abolisher I'd recommend Silverblade Paladin or Thragtusk since dat life gain/creature token

Also check out my decks, you might find an idea in one of them. It's weird how the Illegal deck does that.

It's not a matter of being broke, it's a matter of it being sub-par post rotation. :P The ability to stop the opponent from popping my exalted creature or doing whatever on my turn is so crucial in a deck that wants to only attack with one creature that I don't know if it's worth the effort to play the deck otherwise.

I like it, especially with aholisher...look into artful dodge, invisible stalker.....or check out my esper exalted. Just played it in a tourney, lost a lot to rg aggro but overall it was fast and scared peeps with an exalted delver coming atcha face fast!

I've played the version on the PS3 game and have pretty much geared that deck to Tormented Soul because it whips everything so bad with exalted. Heavy removal could be a concern although I see you currently have card:Faith's Reward in the SB.
I also second thundernick on the O-Rings, whether in the main or SB. Also, 2 mained Ajani might be a thought. His -3 gives me the willies.
Overall though it looks nice. Champion of the Parish is gonna be one happy dude. +1
