INTRO

This is my favourite deck. I've been playing with it and tuning it for an incredibility long time. The best way to describe it is 'Midrange ramp, Creature heavy'. It's somewhat slow compared to most ramp (mostly due to the lack of mana dorks and doublers). I often hyberbolically joke that this deck does jack shit until turn 5 when I play Karametra (in reality, I usually keep busy with cards Soul Warden and Sakura-Tribe Elder in the early turns). Instead, the majority of ramp is my commander's responsibility, thus centering the deck around gaining value by casting creatures. This also entails a lack of non-creature spells (neither Sol Ring nor Smothering Tithe will ever touch this deck). Karametra's indestructibility is an incredible boon; She's barely removed and you'd only need to recast her 3 times on the worst day. Now time to go more in depth about the specific card suites

RAMP

Sakura-Tribe Elder , Wood Elves , Farhaven Elf , Springbloom Druid : Nothing to say here.

Lotus Cobra : This card might as well be "Creature spells cost 1 less to cast" with additional benefits. If there was a fetchland in this deck, it would be possible to cast Karametra on turn 3 with Cobra

Nissa, Vastwood Seer  : It really deserves to be in the Card Advantage Suite, but I often find the ramp to be incredibly useful.

Phyrexian Walker , Ornithopter : More useful than you'd think. They're fetchlands without downsides. They're either getting early lands post Karametra, or getting free landfall triggers. Even in the worst scenario, topdecking one of these can either buy you an extra turn, or be an objectively hilarious way to lose.

CARD ADVANTAGE

Beast Whisperer , Soul of the Harvest , Primordial Sage : Making spells replace themselves is my favourite type of draw, and is typically my first tutor choice on a neutral board. I usually prefer Soul of the Harvest because it's also comes on an immaculate 6/6 trample body.

Nissa, Sage Animist : Another deck favourite! She's primarily here for her +1. It's like a no life loss Dark Confidant that you could time for potentional landfall triggers. The 4/4 is also useful if I feel insecure about my board presence. The ult was used exactly once in the entire 4 years of her being in my deck.

Vizier of the Menagerie : Works intrestingly with Karametra. With the ability to look at the top card, you can shuffle away mediocre draws. Although this comes with the unfortunate caveat that I'll be forced to watch good cards get shuffled away.

Duskwatch Recruiter  : Not my favourite. Although using the ability feels good, I barely use it. Often the mana Duskwatch needs is used to cast other stuff. It's also hella inconvenient to have it transform, both in strategy and in psychical time consumption.

Sandstone Oracle My least favourite in this suite. Even though it can help me get clutch card draw, I often struggle to do much else on that turn because this card is way too expensive for what it does.

LIFE GAIN

Essence Warden , Soul Warden , Soul's Attendant , Auriok Champion : Life gain is pretty darn important. Not only does it stave off aggro, but it makes an excellent tempo advantage. My primary means of life gain is through soul sister cards. If things are going swimmingly, I can gain 6+ life after every 4 turns. If I'm left alone, My life total can get up to 70+

Grazing Gladehart , Jaddi Offshoot : Landfall life gain is also powerful, though with Jaddi Offshoot, it's much weaker. Grazing Gladehart however, is one of the best life gainers in this deck.

Dawnglow Infusion : One of the few non creature spell that don't boardwipe or tutor. The exists as a last resort. Not too favorable with it; it makes an godawful topdeck sometimes

REMOVAL

Planar Cleansing , Hour of Revelation : Nothing to say here.

Myojin of Cleansing Fire , Cataclysmic Gearhulk , Bane of Progress : Boardwipes with creatures attached are invaluable in this deck due to their tutor-ablity. Bane is particularly great due to the sheer creature heavyness of my deck.

Apex Altisaur , Duplicant : New cards in the deck. Due to being both restricted by creatures and the lack of black, spot removal is hard. Recently Luminate Primordial was here and worked well despite being Seven mana (now cut for Duplicant).

Angel of Sanctions : I'm not a big fan of Oblivion Ring creatures because they're very killable, but this one is worth it. It's beefy body and built in recursion is what puts it way over other creatures in it's milieu. It's also fun to remove commanders with this.

Ulvenwald Tracker : This is never as explosive as I expect. I'm surprised by how much I don't use it.

Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger : Similar to Nissa, It really counts as a game ender, but It's incredibly effective as removal. Sometimes I wish that he wasn't a massive legendary eldrazi just so I can rid two problems and carry on.

Knight of Autumn , Qasali Pridemage , Reclamation Sage , Acidic Slime : Nothing to say here.

RECURSION

Eternal Witness , Greenwarden of Murasa : Nothing to say here.

Karmic Guide : Really good, but I'm praying for a strictly better version because Echo is a pain in the ass.

Emeria, The Sky Ruin : So good that I preemptively make sure I assemble 7 plains, even if I never hit this land. Additional bonus in the taboo against land destruction in casual commander circles.

Emeria Shepherd : This is my favourite card in my deck hands down. The synergy with Karametra is insane. I purpously grab forests just to get more triggers. I often become indistinguishable from a Storm player when she resolves. I also want to stress that comboing with Sakura-Tribe Elder isn't a good idea. Even with good Landfall effects on the board, there will always be a vulnerability to removal. Then, I'm left with my main source of value generation decimated. The only time I considered using this combo was during a time when I had Spawnsire of Ulamog in this deck.

TUTORS

Chord of Calling , Fauna Shaman , Fierce Empath , Green Sun's Zenith , Worldly Tutor : Self explanatory.

PROTECTION, HATE, MISCELLANEOUS

Dragonlord Dromoka , Grand Abolisher : Anti Counterspell.

Homeward Path : New card. Anti theft because having Karametra stolen is the worst thing that can happen to this deck

Glorious Protector : New card. Although it fairly easy for this deck to recover from board wipes, I still wanna try this card out.

Shalai, Voice of Plenty : General anti interaction.

Scavenging Ooze : Graveyard decks are stupidly popular in casual EDH. All half decent EDH decks should have a little graveyard hate.

Sigarda, Host of Herons : And 90% of those graveyard decks run mass sacrifice. Plus, a 5/5 hexproof flyer is nasty

Emeria Angel : Mostly a chump blocker factory. Very valuable outside of that though.

Genesis Hydra : Fun to cast and half dodges Counterspells to boot.

Field of the Dead New card. Haven't tested it, but I know it will be more than easy to activate due to fact that cards like Temple Garden and Scattered Groves are fetch-able through Karametra's trigger.

Felidar Retreat : New card that I've recently changed my mind on. Will replace soon

Temur Sabertooth : My second favourite card in the deck! I have to stress how busted this card is. It's hard to remove, protects my creatures, triggers Karametra and abuses ETB effects.

WINCONS

Craterhoof Behemoth : The most common way I win the game.

Avacyn, Angel of Hope : Avacyn/wrath combos are the second most common way I win the game.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite , Thunderfoot Baloth : PContenders Overwatch Contenders Korea made a highlight video of Polapo's play today! Polapo is the only female player currently in Contenders, she showed some great game sense and understanding of Brigitte!erfect for killing via raw combat.

Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger : Nothing feels better than throwing this at the nerd who been drawing 6 cards per turn.

Avenger of Zendikar : This is the wincon that always dies; I'm keeping it because of that.

Admonition Angel : They're also a removal magnet, but they'll end the game when unanswered.
