Maybeboard

Go-Shintai leads Shrines into combat! These plucky little buildings will overwhelm and confuse with their tribal synergy.

What we are trying to do

We are trying to win games by getting the best value possible out of shrines and enchantments. We want to get shrines out alongside our Commander as quickly as possible in order to start imposing our game plan on other players.

UPGRADES:

Should we look into mazes end for a wincon? That seems likely given Gates remain the best way to reactively fix our manabase as the deck draws out.

I have realized that in order to get the best value out of our shrines, we need to get as many upkeep steps in as possible.

We need to get more heavily invested into Enchantment tutors to bring our prisons online first to keep our board from being hassled too much.

"How can I help you?"

I need suggestions on good value added cards in the 1-2 CMC range. I am concerned my deck is overly heavy right now on CMC.

Knowing myself as a player, one of the big things I struggle with is overplaying my hand too early in the game. I often deal damage to other players quickly and then and subsequently targeted by the table. My hope is that playing a deck like this will help me minimize the biggest weaknesses I have as a player.

Go-Shintai of Life's Origin vs Omo, Queen of Vesuva and Esix, Fractal Bloom

Go-Shintai of Lost Wisdom and card: Go-Shuntai of Endless Wars were pulled early and went to graveyard for being annoying early, got out Sanctum of All and would bring back Lost Wisdom. Pulled into card: Sigil of Empty Throne which was generating angels like no tomorrow. Eventually pulled into Sanctum of Stone Fangs and the double trigger won the game.

Omo was scary but our control cards kept the board suppressed to avoid the worst of the everything counters. Esix didn't quite get off the ground but the plan was "creatures attack" and we had access to our prison cards.

Thoughts:

Need more ramp, need Maze's End, need more win conditions. Maybe something that can trigger off enchantments in some way.
