Now if Goblin Lackey was modern legal... That'd be a different story.

Honestly man Mogg War Marshal + Quest for the Goblin Lord is great but so is Shared Animosity I run 3 of each... I know everyone says its slow but honestly it's a possible 3 4/1 goblins swinging t3. It's good.
I'm also not a fan of bushwacker either... so I would suggest Warren Instigator he's really good and an active quest it's a 3/1 double strike with tramp because Legion Loyalist + Warren Instigator is a thing;then you just get free cards on the table.

Im already running Shared Animosity over the quest for the gobling lord. It was there until I had purchased my animositys. Which was a good while back. Im toying with a list that runs Warren instigator but in this version bushwacker hits harder and faster.

I meant the Denizen my bad. I still think that Quest is good though, it's still a +2/+0 on T3, HOWEVER if you are actually gonna invest in Guides, it's worth. I won't they are just too expensive, so I feel that Quest fills a good hole.

I think splashing green is correct since itll give you access to Ghor-Clan Rampager
also some number of Goblin Kings sideboard

im sure ypu aware of it but goblin rabblemaster would do well in here

shadow63 Rabblemaster's downside is large enough in this deck that a lot of players dislike it.
pauginxz Goblin King has no immediate board impact, and at 3 mana, you should be playing a game changing card. It just doesn't do as much as Goblin Chieftain the turn it comes down and it isn't impactful enough to warrant running. Some people like it, but most don't.

Kikai im not a huge fan of 4 Goblin Piledriver because they just get worse as you draw them, also you REALLY need Cavern of Souls unless your meta doesn't have alot of counter magic.

Yeah I need to get around to getting a set of Blood Moon. I was hoping they would hit the ban list just so I wouldn't have to shell out 30-40 dollars a copy the aftermarket prices on cards is ridiculous and makes me want to quit at times.
October 6, 2015 11:51 p.m.
Im in the same boat for Cavern of Souls price is too much for me atm but as soon as I can i'll pick up a pair and drop them in the list.

CMC may be too high. Obelisk of Urd could be a suitable replacement as with convoke you can get it out pretty fast.
October 7, 2015 1:35 p.m.
synonimous_ It may not be a must have. It doesn't have haste, doesn't have any immediate board presence, and dies to all removal. Honestly, it isn't the best option at 2 mana (IMO).

I will second the opinion that Warren Instigator is just too ineffective in goblin decks for all of the aforementioned reasons by rorofat.
When I briefly played him these are the two most common scenarios I ran into:
+ Your enemy has too much respect for what he can do and always takes him down asap
+ By the time he resolves combat damage there aren't any goblins left in your hand

Krenko is a good card but he doesn't fit the current list's curve too well and if his ability would hit big I should be winning the match already. I would consider him much more if he had haste built in or one more toughness but I won't add him until Goblin Warchief gets printed in modern.

Technically you can kill turn 3. (T1 Goblin Guide, total 2, T2 Goblin Guide, Goblin Guide, total 8, T3 Shared Animosity or anything that equals 6 damage after Goblin Guide attacks)

Yeah I know but thats perfect hand with no interaction from my opponent.

@Nixin72 true thats what I've found out during testing with rabble and Warren. Sadly they won't make the final cut for the reasons you stated
