Get a lot of tiny minions on the battlefield and attack like a maniac while burning potential blockers and boosting the minions.

It is a great strength not to be dependent on a single, strong creature. If I loose one, I will just cast a new one next turn. However, I am dependent on my minions. If the opponent massacres all of them using Mutilate, I am screwed. Any suggestions to what I can do to protect my gobbos?
