For the hilarity challenge.

Since plains are obviously the best land, we are going to run a mono red deck with the exception of enlightened tutor to fetch urza's sun glasses.

Also, Steamflogger Boss is obviously one of the best cards ever printed, it DOUBLES the amount of contraptions you can assemble. Do you have any idea how useful that is? On top of it, it even BOOSTS other goblin riggers, which is one of the most common creature types in the game, right? So that's the basis of the deck.

Also, no one EVER should be playing with even number of permanents on field. Its just bad form, it really is. Because of this common courtesy, Chaos moon is an exceptional card that should see twice as much play as it does.

Also, anything that costs under three mana is only good for finding urza's sunglasses, because that is what you should be using to play red spells anyways. Because of this, it is IMPOSSIBLE to play any good spells in any good mono-red deck for under 3 mana, you NEED urza's sunglasses. Therefore, your mana curve SHOULD be shifted over 3.
