So whether you gain 1 life for each Soul Warden, or 2 life because Rhox Faithmender is on the board, you still only get 1 counter from Archangel of Thune." I am gaining life separately for each goblin going onto the battlefield, I gain the life at the same time, though I gain 1 life each time a goblin goes on to the battlefield, for example if 20 goblins go onto the battlefield, then I will gain 1 life for each goblin, 1 life x 20 goblins is 20 life, though they're being recorded separately. It seems as though it would work as though you said because you're gaining "20 life, if you put 20 goblins on the field" though I am 100% certain you gain each singular point of life for each creature put on the battlefield.

Also with Archangel of Thune It's for each life gain trigger. So if you have two Soul Warden on the feild and one creature enters the battlefield, it would be two counters.

This deck already works without Black, though yes those cards would be great, I just don't want to add another colour into this deck. Personally, I really dislike 3 coloured decks. Why Suture Priest as opposed to Soul's Attendant? The attendant is strictly the same as soul warden and let's you gain life starting turn 2 more often. Cool deck though! +1

@timebender, Thanks for the suggestion! I don't have such a good knowledge of cards in MTG so I wouldn't of thought of it. I'll definitely put those in and take out the Suture Priests.

True Conviction would be a decent enchantment, even though its CMC is rather high, but that comes with the abilities, lifelink and double strike.

Boomstick022, I think this card would work well as a last resort win-con. If things aren't going the way I'd like, for example, I don't have an Archangel of Thune or a Purphoros, God of the Forge on the field, then giving all my goblins double strike and lifelink will probably sort things out. Though I have no idea what to remove, this deck already works fairly well and I'm not sure if I add that card it will become advantageous to me or if it's actually not necessary and I can cope without it and it's just wasting card space.

Thanks for the suggestion though! I'm definitely contemplating over whether to include this card in the build or not. If you have any more ideas, leaving them in the comments would be highly appreciated as always, thanks!

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx might also work as far as mana production based on devotion, although I would only add in two as its dual colors.

What about Impact Tremors to possibly substitute purphoros? its cheaper to cast so you can cast it earlier in the game for more triggers, plus you can just stack them if you draw multiples.

Yeah, thanks SG_Matt for the suggestion! I was considering putting it in for quite a while, though I think I'll put it in for sure. It'll definitely help with a lot of early game damage.

The only thing I would say is you don't seem to have any way of protecting your combo, which is something every deck that relies on a combo needs to have.

I mean - Detention Sphere could effectively stop this deck in its tracks.

If you are able I would swap out a few of your Plain lands for Windbrisk Heights. It taps for White and can also help you get higher cmc combo cards out earlier.

I recently played an affinity deck with my version that i had trouble with Inkmoths and flying. I added Eldrazi Monument and it has worked out great!
