I first made this deck to take advantage of the period of time where Goblin Grenade was in Standard at the same time as Goblin Guide, and Lightning Bolt was proudly standing alongside Incinerate, free to burninate the countryside to their hearts' content. Sadly, that time has passed, but I was very proud of how it performed in the one sanctioned event I brought it to (which was in fact the time I ever played it against a live opponent!).

The point of all this, like any Goblin/Burn deck, is to do as much damage as possible as quickly as possible. Once you have the opponent off-balance, Manabarbs locks it up for you, forcing the opponent to do your dirty work as you close out the game.

The sideboard choices are cards that are generally good against multiple different matchups, but most of them are specifically very good against Deceiver Twin, as it was one of the few decks that had the ability to win the game faster than I could.
