This deck really needs 3 card:Gaea's Cradle and 3 Maze of Ith if the game goes long

I love Timmy decks like this, looks awesome. I like your creature synergy and how it sort of focuses around the awe of Godsire and other pound for pound-costed creatures like Terra Stomper and Wolly Thoctar.
Instant +1 because you remembered to put Titanic Ultimatum in here :D.
I almost recommended the new Abundant Growth over Trace of Abundance but caught myself.. didn't see that trace added an extra mana.
It's kind of funny that this deck is extended-legal and legacy-legal but not modern. I guess in October it will only be legacy-legal. But since you ARE running this deck in legacy, I really think you should consider even just a little bit of removal. Splashing a few Swords to Plowshares will go a long way to removing a Blazing Archon or Magus of the Moat that can shut your entire deck down almost immediately, not to mention any other creature threats that hold you back from winning. Swords is definitely the best White removal (and arguably even THE best removal, for any colour) in the entire MTG game, and I would recommend trying to squeeze some in if possible.
Have you considered Hunting Grounds or card:Eladamri's Call, which are also available to you in the Legacy format?

I really like Wolly Thoctar but I LOVE Terra Stomper . I hate that it gets overlooked in so many mono-green decks. It's an uncounterable 8/8 with trample...for 6 mana. How can you pass that up?
And how could I not put 1 Titanic Ultimatum in? If I can cast that, my opponent is shitting himself even if it doesn't win the game.
The only thing that keeps it from modern is card:Green Sun's Zenith . And you think I should change the sideboard to more removal instead of lifegain? I already have Beast Within which is the obvious choice. Gotta love a green Vindicate . I don't really want to smash it in the deck since the main deck is just straight ramp to beat down but its definitely good to side in if I run into issues. And I'm definitely going to swap Lurking Predators for Hunting Grounds in my sideboard for now and I'm definitely considering card:Eladamri's Call.

well, to put this in modern, just mainboard Primal Surge in place of the GSZ, and you have a boss of a modern deck that is not only consistent, aggressive and fun, but it is also very competitive.

Wow. Amazing deck. After playtesting it, I was half-glad that the fight was over. The worst thing (I mean worst as in worst for me) in this deck is card:Mayael's Aria. That thing is just.... painful to play against. +1 from me

@Molt57 Thank you sir. I put a lot of time into this deck. And yeah that card can be really powerful especially if multiples are out together.

The deck works really fast too. But, having no removal, your worst enemy is Platinum Angel . If you ever encounter said angel, I don't think there's anything you can do about it in a 1v1 (if you play that way). But still, really good deck! I think I'll buy this actually.
June 23, 2012 10:04 p.m.
Oops. Didn't notice the Beast Within s on the side board. But, that angel is still your worst enemy in an artifact deck with Darksteel Forge .

@Molt57 Yeah I'm thinking about running an all removal sideboard with like Swords to Plowshares and Ancient Grudge and/or Naturalize for any enchantments and artifacts that mess me up. And a Lure or 2 could also help with that Platinum Angel issue.
June 23, 2012 10:34 p.m.
Yeah. The only problem with the Lure is that if the angel is tapped or is indestructible due to the Forge or a Darksteel Plate . Use this deck for example, The Age of Steel.

Karn Liberated , Swords to Plowshares , Path to Exile , and Journey to Nowhere . All great exile cards. Speaking of which, I need to make an adjustment to The Age of Steel. Happy deck building!

I looked down and I didn't see it suggested yet, which was a little bit surprising, but Somberwald Sage anybody? Also, Gisela owns in this deck, and even more so with Mage Slayer . And Wolfir Silverheart is just amazing.

Only downside to Somberwald Sage is i can only get one color. It is great though. And Gisela is good but thats not the bomb I'm looking for for this deck

Perhaps Ajani Vengeant could fit? I'm relatively new to Magic so this might be a terrible suggestion. Thanks though.

I had him in for the sideboard before but he doesn't really fit in the deck like Garruk Wildspeaker does. He fit in better when I had a direct damage setup with cards like Lightning Helix , Mage Slayer , Branching Bolt and Warstorm Surge . But I ended up taking those cards out.

I've run into some trouble while playtesting your deck with Ancient Ziggurat with not being to use it with the rather sizable chunk of non-creature cards in the deck (not to mention creature abilities). I'm having more luck just having 4 Jungle Shrine s or using Gemstone Mine s.

I ran into that issue too. I'm thinking about doing 3 Jungle Shrine s and throw in a Cavern of Souls at least for a bit.

@Splintergeist I had considered it initially, but the bonus only goes so far. If I were playing smaller multi-colored creatures I would for sure run it but giving +3/+3 to Godsire is good, but that's a creature slot better filed by another bomb.

@CommanderFun Thanks! What about the sideboard change? That was a large change to the deck overall.
July 10, 2012 9:28 p.m.
Wasn't Birds of Paradise in this deck? It should. Also I vote Loxodon Warhammer over Behemoth Sledge

It does make things easier for Godsire itself, but all of the other creatures can be just as important so having to sacrifice them hurts me more than it helps me. And the deck wasn't made just for Godsire more inspired by Godsire . Yes it has been brought up about a billion times.
