Gaddock Teeg worth it over tirel he stops every board wipe and certain types counters amnd kills

What cheap and fast green mana source would you recommand then? I thought about Brushland , but I am not sure.

Sunpetal Grove its like 5 bucks if i remember chromatic lantern could help too hmmm kinda tough since this is pretty much mono whit but possibly a evolving wilds or a terramorphic expanse and like 2-3 forrests u wont need mutch cuz gaddock is a 1 or 2 of

Just run like 2x Temple Garden and a few fetch lands like Arid Mesa and you're set.

I am quite low on money now. Temple Garden is quite expensive. What about Tranquil Garden ? Doesn't look so bad.

Yes, it gives you something to use mana for in the late game other than dumping it into play for Armored Ascension .

Like this deck a lot! I love tribal decks and Lorwyn-Shadowmoor block. I would include Preeminent Captain and Ballyrush Banneret for sure. I would also try to include more than one Militia's Pride (another great card you don't see much) and Honor of the Pure . I'm not big on Adaptive Automaton , not that it isn't a good card, I just think it kinda puts a damper on the flavor. If I wanted more bonuses I'd go Coat of Arms and/or Door of Destinies . Guys, do you think I could end well if I'd go on a tournament with this deck?

Maybe, but you might need a bit more removal or prevention (such as Gaddock Teeg , which I noticed someone already suggested) but other than that, it is quite good. I'd prefer to see -4x Adaptive Automaton and +4x Ballyrush Banneret as well as getting rid of the Armored Ascension and put in at least 2x Gaddock Teeg , while taking out the Rustic Clachan for either Sunpetal Grove or Brushland . Love it, and I recently made a Kithkin deck, as I was bored and spent a few minutes finding obscure tribes and found these, my old favourites.

You don't like Adaptive Automaton ? It's pretty similar to Wizened Cenn and only one mana more expensive. In combination with your Ballyrush Banneret idea it would be just as good, maybe even better because of it's colorless mana cost. Rustic Clachan are just plains with a cool secondary ability. It can't cause much trouble, I have my hand full of kithkin cards all the time. Armored Ascension works well for me too. It's a good finisher.

Yeah ok, but I just think that Adaptive Automaton just ruins the flavour of the deck a bit. I mean, there is a cool army of little men and a robot that tries to look like them. It just doesn't work for me. The Rustic Clachan , if anything, puts you at a distinct disadvantage as you might give away your game plan by showing them a Kithkin. I guess it is ultimately your choice, but that is my opinion anyway.

Also, what is the Elspeth Tirel doing there? Yes, I understand that she is brilliant, but I don't get her in this deck.

I am trying to make it as good as possible, even if some cards aren't working with the story side of this deck. About Rustic Clachan , my opponent will probably understand what am I playing on third turn anyway and it's ability is a good backup. Elspeth Tirel is there because I needed to fill one place in the deck until I'll get some better cards, so I chose her. I will probably trade her for Gaddock Teeg s soon.

Looks like a really good deck, but unfortunately Harsh Mercy , Tribal Unity and Armageddon aren't Modern-legal. I like the single Cloudgoat Ranger , hehehe. What about the Time Spiral block Kithkin? Or Disenchant (Timeshifted, so Modern-legal) for artifact removal...
