Golgari counter deck I created before Gatecrash. Probably needs some tweaking (e.g. Forced Adaptation), but I've moved on to a Simic/splash black counter deck.

Use Corpsejack Menace to get double counters. Quirion Dryad gains counters from a mostly black creature deck. Increasing Savagery is awesome for adding 5, then 10 counters, especially if corpsejack is in play at the time. Necropolis Regent is pretty sweet when I can get it out.

Use Dark Favor or Ring of Xanthrid on unblockable Tormented Souls. It would be pretty awesome if I can get Elbus equiped on a tormented soul, but it's never happened in play yet.

I'm not sure about Vorapede, Death's Caress, or Death's Presence, but not sure what else to put in/take out.
