Maybeboard

this is a deck i made to combat aggro and control but also just to be fun. for some strange reason no one is ready to go up against an off-color midrange deck and i found that this deck (to my surprise) actually did well at fnm.

the creatures:

Courser of Kruphix this card is insane, extra life, extra land, and a good blocker just what this deck needs.

Elvish Mystic early ramp.

Sylvan Caryatid ramp and mana fixing, also a good blocker.

Polukranos, World Eater this deck's main threat, this card does everything from boardwipeing to swinging for massive amounts of damage. easily my favorite card in the deck.

Mistcutter Hydra even if they're not playing blue this card can deal lots of damage coming out of nowhere and affecting the board as soon as it hits.

Stormbreath Dragon a really good bomb that swings for massive damage in the air.

Hornet Queen maybe its just me but this seems to be worthy of running mainboard considering most of standard right now is removal and midrange and its good against both of them.

Hooded Hydra late game this card is really good because no one wants to kill it and have to deal with the tokens. plus the morph is cool

the planeswalkers:

Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker an indestructible stormbreath is his +1? i love this card and ive only read his first ability! the other 2 are relevant as well especially late game.

Xenagos, the Reveler mana ramp, more mana ramp and lots of creatures.

the spells:

Hero's Downfall kills creatures, walkers, and helps to clear the board so my big guys can get through.

Read the Bones card advantage.

Chord of Calling tutors everything since mana is almost never a problem.

Magma Jet good burn and it sets up my next two draws.

Crater's Claws late game finisher and removal.

Bile Blight removal, especially good against aggro and token.

Murderous Cut removal that i can potentially cast for one black late-game.

the lands:

Forest its a forest duh.

Swamp its a swamp duh.

Mountain its a mountain duh.

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx sooooo much mana.

Llanowar Wastes manafixing.

Temple of Malady manafixing and scry.

Temple of Abandon manafixing and scry.

Bloodstained Mire manafixing and deck thinning. you also gain life if you have Courser of Kruphix out.

Wooded Foothills same as Bloodstained Mire.

the sideboard

Dark Betrayal because one mana removal is good.

Polis Crusher destroys constellation and is just a good creature.

Peak Eruption land destruction and damage, sounds good to me.

Mistcutter Hydra against blue decks and control.

Nylea's Disciple against aggro and in long match-ups.

Hornet Nest tutor this with Chord of Calling during block phase and watch your opponent cry.

Reclamation Sage good against those pesky constellation decks and has a body that can block and attack if need be.

Underworld Cerberus really good against Whip of Erebos decks and control decks because they wont want to remove it because it will get my creatures back.

Reaper of the Wilds scrying, deathtouch, hexproof, just an all-together good card
