Squirrels —June 3, 2021
Added Nested Shambler in place of Blisterpod. Added two Nameless Inversion moving Sylvok Lifestaff to the sideboard, for their synergy in creating squirrels
Twist35: thanks man, I knew that suicide hub wouldn't really fit, but I couldn't find the right one! As for your suggestions, Carrion Feeder surely is very good, but in this particular case I prefer the vampire because she can really deal 20 damage in one turn (helped by other spells), and maximize the effect of Essence Harvest and Miming Slime . Mortician Beetle feels definitely good, maybe I'll pur him in instead of Aphotic Wisps , that I was thinking of removing, and some more creature would really help. I'll think about the "more card recursion" side, but I think that maybe I'll only add 1 more Unearth . Grisly Salvage is nice, I don't really know what would need to be removed though. Anyway, thanks for your advices!

I think we had about the same idea at the same time:
You are relying a bit too much on the bloodthrone vampire being large, with both miming slime and essence harvest. Pulling that off with just 18 lands is next to impossible. I have elected to play 19 lands, but added 4 Loam Dryad to compensate. I would scale down on the "you need a big creature to play me cards", which can be hit or easily miss, and lean on more "sacrifice" theme and definitely a lower curve.

hey Boza, thanks for your opinion. I was already thinking about adding one more land, or maybe two, but definitely not more. Adding also Loam Dryad wouldn't really do because I'm not looking to ramp up some big crature, and actually having only three lands in play can let you play a good match. What's more, you'll get the lands you'll need with Viridian Emissary, and with Altar's Reap. About the "needing a big creature" (actually only 4 cards do), yeah, having a Bloodthrone Vampire down on the board it's not always granted, but you can easily make up for her using Hunger of the Howlpack on a 3/3 Boar token, or on Viridian Emissary, which lets you play at least a 5/5 paying only 3 mana with Miming Slime or leeching 5 life with Essence Harvest (and it can often be game ending or game changing). Anyway, what would you suggest removing to add in more lands? I was thinking about moving Sylvok Lifestaff to the sideboard. I'll think about adding Loam Dryad (or some Llanowar Elves, which I prefer) instead of the two lands, to add more possible sacrifices

I don't think this is a suicide deck, aristocrats would probably be a better hub. Other than that the deck looks pretty cool, maybe add some more repeatable sac outlets. Carrion Feeder. Mortician Beetle is a very synergistic card. I would add some more card filtering and recursion, like Raise Dead and Grisly Salvage anyways, happy sacrificing!
