Midrange Elf Ramp deck. Works better than expected. Deathrite Shaman is a beast. Basic idea is survive till giant hydra comes out then sacrifice it to Jarad's ability for the win.

Round 1: Fairly horrible werewolf deck, not much to say. Completely owned it... (2-0)

Round 2: VS. Blue/White Spirits. Opposing deck was slow, Game 1 I had him on the defensive until he stabilized at 3 life, then he played two Drogskol Captains and would have been on the attack except that I had two Deathrite Shamans and he had a cancel and a temporal mastery in the graveyard. Tapped both Shamans to exile his cards and make him lose 4 life. Game 2 he got the jump on me and I never stabilized. Game 3 he was doing pretty well had good board position until I dropped Elderscale Wurm and he had no removal. (2-1)

Round 3: VS. A very good werewolf deck played by a buddy of mine. Game one was pretty tough for both of us. We traded blows until I got out Elderscale Wurm again. He managed to fling a creature and destroy it, but it was too late. Game 2 I was mana screwed. Game 3 he was mana screwed. (2-1)

Round 4: VS. G/B zombies. Very tough matchup. Game 1 He beat me pretty badly because of blood artist and geralf's messenger. Game 2 I sideboarded Slaughter Games and got rid of his Geralf's Messengers and Rancors (pretty lucky to draw both Slaughter Games). And game three was really close but in the end Deathrite Shaman and Elderscale Wurm pulled it out till I got a 40/40 Primordial and Jarad. (2-1)
