This deck could really benefit from Deathrite Shaman (considering you have Grisly Salvage ), Elvish Mystic , even Sylvan Caryatid . Like oltmof said, you're really lacking mana ramp.

A cheap alternative to Mistcutter Hydra , as recommended to me by a user here, could be Vastwood Hydra . It'll get you get value with Corpsejack, and if you Devour Flesh it, you can double your counters once again and heal for a bunch.

"Lifecrafter's Gift" will trigger up the ability of "Corpsejack Menace" doubling the +1/+1 counters that would be put on all creatures with a +1/+1 counter on it. "Hardened scales" will further double the amount. Also, i'd change "Hero's downfall" for "Ruinous path": cheaper, same cost, same effect and also you get a nice "awaken 4" ability that, paying a ridicolously high amount of mana (5 generic plus 2 black) will turn a Land into a 4/4 elemental/land!
