I would just drop the Doom Blade altogether and just run 3 of each on the Putrefy and Abrupt Decay for more consistency, there is going to be a lot of black in new standard +1

With Hero's Downfall revealed, I'm tempted to get 4 of those replacing both the Doom Blades and the Putrefies, hitting Planeswalkers looks to be much more important than Artifacts in the format. I don't know whether the no-regeneration clause of Putrefy is relevant, though.

For your 4 drop you are probably going to get more out of Reaper of the Wilds then Polukranos, World Eater . The Reaper can protect itself from removal, trade up with huge fatties if necessary and you get constant card advantage whenever something dies as you can just scry what you need/don't need.

Yep, I just stumbled upon the Reaper myself and it looks pretty nice. On the other hand, in a Mizzium Mortars world 5 toughness is the threshold where no single burn spell can catch the creature, anyway, and Polukranos' Monstrosity trigger can generate further card advantage. Still, a good idea to play around with. Even Deadbridge Goliath is a possibility, although I think it inferior to both Reaper and Polukranos.

I think Reaper of the Wilds should be four of from testing. It can be great against control also maybe something like Kalonian Hydra could be helpful?

I'm curious how this did in a match setting, any updates?

Deathrite Shaman is much better than Manaweft Sliver especially with removal spells and Grisly Salvage .
Consider replacing 2 or 3 Putrefy with Abrupt Decay - sure putrefy has its strengths, but abrupt decay is better early game and versus artifacts and planeswalkers ;)
Your deck is pretty similar to my post rotation golgari - Gorgari
