I would like to start of by saying that I love Golgari. Alot. And I love the scavenge mechanic. It is the best feeling to attack with a creature and have your opponent have to debate on whether or not killing it would be the best move!

That being said this is a scavenge deck revolving round the counters. Because of this, the best card in here is Daggerdrome Imp . Sure at first its just a 1/1 flying with lifelink, but by turn 4/5 BAM!!!! Scavenge a Deadbridge Goliath with a Corpsejack Menace out, it becomes a 11/11 flying lifelink.

As far as the other creatures go, Lotleth Troll is a must have. Pair that with a Slitherhead and you get a free +1 counter for the discard, then another free +1 for the scavenge.
