its still a bit scary if lets say u never see a whip in play and its getting critical for you to play a creature. she might just be a dead card. u could find better alternatives in ur colours to draw cards. what about Underworld Connections and 2 Reaper of the Wilds to draw ur scry directly? just a suggestion.

@ obZen i see what you mean, yet with the Sylvan Caryatid i usually always have the mana to cast her directly.

however, i am morphing the deck right now into something with more blue and actually no Zeganas (xD) stay tuned for updates ;)

Only cards I am missing IRL are 2x Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver

Even tho I am working on the new evolution, I will keep modifying this deck with some ideas that don't delve too much away from the origins.

Have been playing this deck instead the BETA yesterdat and I am at a point, where the deck seems to work pretty well and I only need to work on the SB and not make mistakes.

what about Scavenging Ooze ?

The Ooze is very good, but doesn't have any synergy whatsoever with this deck. What would you actually take out to fit in the Ooze?

Would Far / Away be a viable alternative to Devour Flesh ? The mana base doesn't look like it could support it now, but would the ability to bounce a creature from tapping down Desecration Demon and otherwise clearing the way for leathal be advantageous enough for the stretch?

i dont like the splash of blue just for a Prime Speaker Zegana who needs double blue to be cast which would be near impossible.... Giant Adephage would be better than that...

as I already mentioned in previous comments AND the description of the deck, Zegana is not ment to be casted, but whipped.

i am using far/away in another version of this deck, with more blue in it. here i just don't want to splash too much to a 3rd color and Erebos should prevent them from gaining life anyways.
