Sarkhan's Unsealing is a great way to get more out of your creatures! Especially if they are cheaper to cast because of Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma! Once you stick Sarkhan's Unsealing all of your creatures become 'burn spells'! Combine that with creatures that give you additional effects anyway, and you get super value! How would you like to cast a Glorybringer that instantly does 4 damage to any target, then can attacks with haste for 4 flying damage, AND you can exert it for 4 more damage to any non dragon creature! That's 12 damage for 5 mana! Maybe a Ghalta, Primal Hunger would be more your speed? Sure, it costs , but wouldn't it be more fun if it cost and caused Sarkhan's Unsealing to deal 4 damage to your opponent and their whole board? I think so! Even without Unsealing, this deck can cause problems for your opponent!
SCENARIO: It's turn 5. You just untapped and your board is 4 lands, Llanowar Elves, Steel Leaf Champion, and Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. You're holding Mountain, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, and Hazoret the Fervent, and Abrade. Play the Mountain, play Ghalta for , play Hazoret. You're down to 1 card in hand! You also have 2 mana left to cast Abrade! Enter combat, attack with Champion, Goreclaw, and Hazoret. Goreclaw gives everyone +1/+1 and trample... you're swinging in for 17! With a 12/12 untapped to block if your opponent survives! I know this is very specific and not likely to be your hand in every game, but I know that it can happen, because it's an actual play I made with this deck!
Ripjaw Raptor - a 'burn spell' that can net you extra cards. Already a great value, but with Goreclaw it's even better at !
Colossal Majesty - nets an extra card every turn once you start putting out creatures, since 27/31 creatures have power 4 or greater.
Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma - creature coupon xtreme! Gives everyone a boost and trample!
Ghalta, Primal Hunger - A potential 2-drop quasi-board wipe with Sarkhan's Unsealing!
Wayward Swordtooth - We need ramp...why not attached to a 5/5 body for 3 mana? Don't have the city's blessing yet? Well, I still got an extra 4 damage just for casting the darn thing! AND, now I can put down those extra land cards!
