No Nissa's Chosen for Nissa Revane ?

I dig this Elf build! Quite different! Of course the only card you could add would be Gaea's Cradle ... Also, I'm a fan of Elvish Visionary .

What 203995014, except Eye of Ugin is only useful if you choose to go with something other than Craterhoof Behemoth .

You need a combo package of Heritage Druid , Nettle Sentinel , and Glimpse of Nature to chain your elves together, build up lots of mana, and then swing with something huge.

The Emrakul, the Aeons Torn in his deck is sad now :(

(He doesn't even have Craterhoof Behemoth in the deck, although he might want to put some in)

If you mainboard 4 Living Wish , you can turn your sideboard into a "utility vault".

i prefer Wellwisher over Nissa Revane becausea) you don't have Nissa's Chosen in your deck andb) Wellwisher will count for Elvish Archdruid or Priest of Titania Since it's casual you don't probably own Nissa Revane ? If you do, stick to it, if you don't, you're fine with Wellwisher .

I don't like Elvish Spirit Guide here, 1-drop should be a Llanowar or similar, so I would suggest swaping in Fyndhorn Elves for the Spirit Guides. They will also be ingame later on what, again, contributes to your Elvish Archdruid s.

I'm not sure about Elvish Piper because your Emrakul, the Aeons Torn 's "on cast" abilities won't trigger. I'd rather max Fierce Empath to 4 so you can be sure you'll get that Emrakul on your hand.

And I don't really see the point in having Fauna Shaman in your deck, at least not 4 times.

All in all, your deck is a generic elf ramp to Emrakul and lacks other win possibilities once you got your board wiped by a wrath. Why did you exclude Timberwatch Elf ? Nevertheless, I like your idea. keep experimenting and playtesting!

You should probably mark this deck as casual.

There are much better win conditions for elf decks than to try and ramp into Emrakul, the Aeons Torn or cheat it out.

One example is Vengevine . With cards such as Fauna Shaman or Survival of the Fittest , you can discard Vengevine if it's in your hand and tutor it and your castings should return Vengevine back.

Even if you were trying to go for the ramp and win, Craterhoof Behemoth might as well be used. It outright wins the game. Personally, I prefer using Vengevine .

Nissa Revane may be a tribal planeswalker, but she is just TERRIBLE. Don't even bother.

Green Sun's Zenith work amazingly in elf decks. You also might want to consider a single Dryad Arbor .

Fyndhorn Elder is crap. Wirewood Symbiote is much better.

Thanks for the comments you two. Currently I am only using cards that I actually own in this deck. I am usually able to get Emrakul, the Aeons Torn out turn 4-5 with this deck and it always stomps my friends decks. I do like the idea of Craterhoof Behemoth , Vengevine , and Green Sun's Zenith . I will look into acquiring them.

I do have a Dryad Arbor I can throw in, same with Wirewood Symbiote to replace the elder.

Also, I dont have my sideboard listed anymore, wasnt really sure I needed it, as this deck was performing the way I wanted. But I can add it back with a playset of Timberwatch Elf and Wellwisher . I also used to use Isochron Scepter + Fog just to annoy my friends haha.

Splash some black with shocklands and stuff, sideboard Cabal Therapy .

If you can get Glimpse of Nature and Heritage Druid , they allow you to draw half of your library if you can keep going and get good draws. Nettle Sentinel and Birchlore Rangers also are good.

Regal Force for ridiculous card draw and a 5/5 body along with it.

Crop Rotation can be considered to fetch that Gaea's Cradle

Looking better! I like the previous suggestions...

Regardless or not if your deck performs well, a sideboard of 15 cards is necessary in certain matchups. When you're facing decks like Affinity, Dredge, Stone Blade, Red Deck Wins, 12 Post, Storm, Reanimator, Show & Tell, etc, your deck had nothing main board to interact with those decks game 1. I would strongly suggest you look into cards that could give you a win against those decks in games 2 & 3.

For reference, some Legacy decks of mine:

Crimson and Ash - Red Deck Wins

Mah Mean Green, Stomping Machine - Mono Green 12 Post

I don't know. Whenever I see Nissa Revane , I think Green/Black. What if you made it an Elven-Zombie Golgari deck? I mean, Nissa Revane and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord would work wonders together.

I really like this deck... if only ermakul wasn't such an expensive (money wise) card, because I'd buy several of them in a heartbeat. +1

He can't take advantage of Deathrite Shaman 's mana ability because he doesn't use fetchlands. The other abilities are just icing on the cake and don't do much.

July 27, 2013 2:08 p.m.

Well, not currently, however when the mention of Golgari Zombie Elves came up, Deathrite Shaman would be amazing...

And there's a few others (mostly because I noticed Emrakul, the Aeons Torn ):

Oracle of Mul Daya

Eye of Ugin

Khalni Heart Expedition

Exploration

Explore

Nature's Lore

Farhaven Elf

Kodama's Reach

Ordeal of Nylea (Counters + Lands after it's sacrificed)

Rampant Growth

And basically any card with forestcycling.

I would say land-spamming isn't going to help much with this, though. Mana is mostly looking to come from creatures, not lands. I would definitely think a Descendants' Path could be put to use, or a Coat of Arms It would mean adjusting a few things, but adding Primal Surge with a Worldspine Wurm and Feed the Pack could help a lot. Emrakul can also be used for sac to keep some library for draws, but it would be better to have multiple options in case one is exiled. Doing this with or without removing Green Sun's Xenith could be useful, though I would say removing them would help more.

Lacking Primal Surge as a strategy, Genesis Waves are a good thing for decks that make a lot of mana. Yeva, Nature's Herald could let you flash out green things, which is nice.

Joraga Treespeaker Comes to mind as a quite helpful elf in this deck, Makes all of those llanowars and elvish mystics create even more mana than they start out giving, and aids along Games involving a Genesis Wave. Also of note could be Tooth and Nail

Genesis Wave , Quirion Ranger , Gaea's Cradle , Natural Order , would make this deck so much more consistent. You could also splash black for Deathrite Shaman and Abrupt Decay .
