FAST! PEW PEW PEW! TURNING SIDEWAYS FTW!

After a successful Theros pre-release, I was able to acquire most of the cards I was after to flesh out my G/R Aggro deck.

I've changed the focus to more red-centric as now devotion matters, and it's always nice seeing a god being animated to wreck havoc :)

A perfect opening hand would be as follows: Turn 1: Elvish Mystic Turn 2: Burning-Tree Emissary, Burning-Tree Emissary, Burning-Tree Emissary, Legion Loyalist, Experiment One Turn 3: Turning sideways, bash bash bash.

Overloading mortars is good to clear the board. Domri and the new planeswalker Xenagos work well together to gain creature advantage.

The finishers in the deck are Stormbreath dragon and currently a Kalonian Hydra (being able to cast hydra then on the same turn, turning sideways as a 10/8 with Ogre Battledriver in play is fun). I still need to acquire more dragons as finishers to replace the Hellkites used in previous G/R Aggro decks, which will eventually replace the lone Hydra.

Sideboard wise, a variety of spells and creatures to deal with different decks. I've found it most useful to side in Ruric Thar to help with pesky spell decks.

Excited to try this deck at this weeks FNM. A modified version of this netted me 2nd at least weeks FNM (pre-Theros) so amped to see how well this will do.
