So honestly to have a deck this good and have it rotate in a couple months, are you gonna completely change it? or are you just gonna go modern?

I'm going modern. The deck lives and dies with M12 and Scars (Architect)

Man I built this back in the day when M12 just came out. I've gotten a solid 10 months of out it and I doubt I'll ever make a deck with smooth again.

It's got a solid .700% winning percentage against my playgroup of 7 people(8 including myself). Sadly I run a retail store and it's in my contract I have to work friday nights so I've never been able to take it to FNM but there are a few people in these comments who have and it seems to always play really well.

This deck's first and last official FNM will be Aug 24th. I managed to get it off. I look forward to using it in a competitive environment.

Man, it sucks that this deck is going to be rotated out soon... I'm just coming back to MTG and this deck looks like it'd be so fun to play. But I somehow doubt that without the cards rotating out this will be as powerful... Oh well, hopefully I can find some just as good decks that aren't going to rotate out!

Thinking the same thing as the guys above; it's a shame i only came across this now as it looks fun to play and makes a refreshing change from the umpteen amount of Delver decks out there. Rarely do you see blue and artifacts together without another colour, let alone a blue Deck which doesn't focus on countering.

Hi there, I'm back to mtg after years and years.I tried to play with this deck but I have a lot of questions on how to play it.When I copy a Wurmcoil Engine with an illusion creature such as Phantasmal Image and then it attacks, won't Phantasmal Image die because of using deathtouch and lifelink?When I copy a creature with Phantasmal Image or Phyrexian Metamorph do I copy only power and toughness of the original card or also its abilities?Can I play Vapor Snag on a token creature? and if so does the token creature just go in the graveyard

The sacrifice trigger is only when it "becomes the target" of a spell of ability. When Phantasmal Image says copy any creature, it does not target so the sacrifice trigger never happens. Deathtouch or Lifelink are just keywords and do nothing to target so they'd be fine.

Same with Phyrexian Metamorph . It just says "copy any creature or artifact" which doesn't target so again you're safe.

With Vapor Snag , if you use it on a token it just vanishes. Once a token leaves play it ceases to exist.

I'm playing with a version of this deck tonight - I don't have tamiyo so I have always made sacrifices any time I try to copy this deck. Today I'm going to try running two Sleep in place of her.

The one thing I keep thinking about using in this deck is Nim Deathmantle because you can instantly bring an image back into play OR even revive the wurmcoil while still getting two little baby wurmcoils.

The Deathmantle would only really work with non-illusions. Also note that it becomes a black zombie which means it's not blue, so it doesn't get buffed by Grand Architect and can't be tapped for artifact mana either.
