Maybeboard

My LGS has two distinct cliques; The smaller group conists of those with well tuned cEDH decks that consistently win by turn 4, and the larger group conists of those that run big "battleship" decks. Obviously when these two groups mingle together not much fun is had by either side. This is my attempt at making a purely fun deck that I can use to sit down at the more casual tables with but has a good shot at winning, while emphasizing an aspect of the format that you don't really get to experience at a competitive table.

The primary focus of this deck is emphasize politicking. While this deck may take the appearance of a "friendly group hug deck", I assure you it is anything but that. This deck proactively controls combat, emphasizes opponents to fight among themselves, and builds a solid fort. If you're a sadist or enjoy sowing chaos at your tables, this deck may interest you. This deck also has the delightful bonuses of having relevant flavor text to read throughout the game. (To the chagrin of your opponents.)

The general idea with this deck is to accelerate board states and tensions between players, while simultaneously building a pillow for and forging alliances. Then when your opponents have dwindled their resources and life totals sufficiently, you can start eliminating them.

Alternate fun win conditions: Azor's Elocutors, Divine Intervention, Approach of the Second Sun. Possible inclusions to the strategy if you want to pursue a "pacifist" win condition.
