Jump head first into cycling and digging for Tortured Existence. Ramirez enables that, and being a three drop you can get him out fast.
There are transmute cards included but you shouldn't need them to get going. They can just help your machine build faster or grab ramp and removal.
Get Tormod out next, and by that time your graveyard as well as hand should have a stock of creatures.
Recycle creatures from your hand and graveyard with Tortured Existence and other recursion & Ramirez' ability to build up a brigade of zombie tokens.
Then you can use Shepard of Rot and Gempalm to lower life totals.
The zombie count on the board adds up quick, and if you use and reuse Gempalm several times on one turn it can grow life loss exponentially.
Cycle Gempalm and he can be retrieved at least once a turn with Ramirez, but you can really put in work with it grave recursion spells and Tortured Existence.
