I was planning to use her more as a 3 drop indestructible and an unlikely trade for a 1/1 snake for a big creature like Polukranos. I think she would reach devotion easily in this deck, but i was going to use her ability more defensively than offensively. She's also got some card draw when combined with Eidolon of Blossoms.

Mm okay, I see what you're trying to do then. I think I'd rather drop her to a 2-of then, since and put the numbers towards a Herald, or the new enchantment that's come out, Strength of the Fallen. You know what I'm talking about?

Yeah I was looking towards maybe Eidolon of Blossoms or even the new Nyx Weaver that got released...

I thought Pharika wouldn't fit in this deck, but maybe the clash between her abilities and this type of deck is being somewhat exaggerated. Her devotion is easy to activate with Jarad and you're not going to be putting mana into her ability early on, because you'd still have things to play. But her presence on the board could still deter attackers, because of the tokens she can make.

Yeah that's how i see it, and it also means i can swing with her without really worrying about needing a blocker because of her ability.

Kruphix's Insight
is a bad card with only a handful of enchantments.

But there are 10 enchantments...? It still adds 6 cards to my graveyard...

Pharika, God of Affliction can hit creature cards in ANY graveyard. She doesn't necessarily take anything away from this deck.

The problem is that Pharika acts against what the deck is trying to do, which is accumulate creatures in the grave so that Nemesis becomes monstrous quickly and Nighthowlers become huge. She also acts against Jarad, dropping his power and toughness every time you make a snake, and against Deathrite Shaman because the snakes she makes could very well be a critical 2 life that you need.
That being said, I still think she's a great card in a mid-range attrition based deck where you put out big guys like Reaper and Demon and kill their things while you're at it. That might be a direction you can go instead?
