I heard you was talkin shit about Rhinos!
So here is the whole deal, people have been hunting Siege Rhinos as of late in order to take their horns as prizes! I know, what a shame, killing such a magnificent creature in order to have something pretty. Well, lets teach those assholes a lesson about killing things, by bringing them back from the grave and running their asses over!!!
The whole point of this deck is to either bring siege rhino's back from the graveyard and onto the battlefield, or to keep bumping it back into your hand to play it again.
So lets take a brief rundown of the deck!
Mainboard
The Creatures
Elvish Mystic =
Classic early game 1 drop to get creatures out faster.
Courser of Kruphix =
Great mana fixer, it gets lands out of your deck so that you can draw the good stuff. Also a great protector with the 2/4. Can be easily put out on to the field by turn 2 with an elvish mystic.
Temur Sabertooth =
Now here is a card that you have never probably seen used in play before. Its a really weird card since it is a 4/3 for , but that is not what we are focusing on. What we are looking at is it's amazing ability, what it allows you to do is to bump our rhino's out of danger. So if our rhino gets hit with a Murderous Cut or Hero's Downfall, we can bump it out and into our loving arms, just to be played again and to earn more life! The other great part is that it's ability makes Sabertooth indestructible, which makes it so that at least 2 creatures survives Crux of Fate!
Siege Rhino =
Here he is, its the big boy! But honestly, there is nothing much to say about it that I haven't already said. He comes in, takes the opponents life, wrecks shit and then leaves. Nuff said.
Tasigur, the Golden Fang =
Okay, here is a great card for this deck. Tasigur allows us to cycle through our deck and grab stuff from our graveyard, all of which would hurt the opponent, so no matter what they would choose, they would be screwed.
The Spells
Animist's Awakening =
Its a great card to cast at the end of your turn in order to get more lands out of your deck so that you can draw more spells/creatures! Also, the spell mastery makes it pretty good in case you have some spells already in your graveyard.
Reclaim =
Hey look! Its an undervalued card! Lets use it! But yeah, the card say it all, just allows us to get cards from our graveyard back into our hand. Nothing special.
Gravepurge =
This is the card that sparked my idea for this deck. So not only do you get to put AS MANY CREATURES as you want from your graveyard on top of your deck, you also get to DRAW ONE. So even if you don't have any cards in your graveyard to retake, you still get to draw a card.
Abzan Charm =
Great card all around, gives you removal, lets you draw, and lets you possibly save/buff up your creatures. All of these choices for 3 mana, like seriously!
Hero's Downfall//Murderous Cut//Foul-Tongue Invocation =
REMOVAL FOR DAYZZZZZ!!!
The Walkers
Liliana, Heretical Healer
=
Great card, no wonder she costs a shitton. She activates by another creature dying, so all you have to do is sacrifice a creature by blocking or use foul-tongue since it is the weakest of all the kills spells. Then she flips into Liliana, Defiant Necromancer, which her +2 is great to control the enemy, but her -X and -8 are what we love the most. Her second ability allows us to get more creatures from the graveyard, and her last ability lets use use the enemy's creatures against them.
Sideboard
Going to be really quick with this, because this is honestly getting lengthy.
Utter End =
Exile removal in case you are going against an animator deck.
Revoke Existance
=
Removal for the inevitable artifact decks coming out of origins.
Valorous Stance =
Either for Mirror match, or if you are going against removal.
Despise =
For creature heavy decks, I'm looking at you Elf Decks!
Drown in Sorrow =
For Red Deck Tokens and for a little bit of the elves since they are all very low toughness.
Infinite Obliteration =
I am tempted to move this into the mainboard, but if I am going against control, I would be screwed with this card in my hand.
