Cards I would drop:

• Spawning Pool - Seems unnecessary.
• Memory Jar - Seems unnecessary.
• Wing Shards - Seems unnecessary and ineffective.
• Knight of the White Orchid - Seems underwhelming.
• Wall of Omens - Seems underwhelming.
• Black Sun's Zenith - Expensive as a board wipe.

I question how viable Thornbite Staff is in this deck. Is it consistently useful to you?

Cards I would consider:

• Sheoldred, Whispering One - Reanimation from your own graveyard; fills opponents' graveyards.
• Terminate - Strong removal.
• Necropotence

If you can afford them, Mana Crypt and Imperial Recruiter (both of which are listed in your description) are good cards. Loyal Retainers is also good.

I really like this deck. If you were looking to go a bit more competitive you may want to also consider:

Altar of Dementia Goblin Bombardment

As these can combo off with either tariel and thornbite or reveillarch and karmic guide to mill or burn people out.

I would additionally really consider running Beacon of Unrest and Anger mainboard.

This list is actually a bit out of date, too, which is kind of a good thing. The great thing about EDH is how you're rewarded to build your own decklist and really make it your own--it's not nearly as fun to just copy some decklist online. Personally, I just like deckbuilding and finding these fun little synergies. If you're able to use that kind of thing to find inspiration, I'd be honored to have helped by provided some sort of a leaping off point--and I'd hope you'd be willing to share your take on it.

To everyone else, still, I am pretty sorry for not keeping this up to date. The list has evolved quite a bit from what I currently have listed, but this earlier version of the deck is still a blast to play. Still, I'll see what I can do about cleaning things up a little!
