The main idea is to get creature cards into your graveyard. This feeds Boneyard Wurm, Lhurgoyf, Mortivore, Splinterfright, and Revenant. Lotleth Troll works well with these creatures because when you discard a creature card, you put a +1/+1 on Lotleth Troll. Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord gets +1/+1 for each creature in your graveyard. It also lets you sacrifice large creatures, doing damage to opponent for that creature's power. Fa'adiyah Seer, Krosan Tusker, and Silverglade Pathfinder help to get land cards out. Cunning Lethemancer is in there to help get cards into the graveyard. Terravore gets its power and toughness from the land cards that will end up in your graveyard.
