Perhaps Vampire Nighthawk instead of Deadly Recluse? (Would help your curve a little too)

Also, what about Wreath of Geists fantastic enchantment.

Wicked fun deck, have you considered Varolz, the Scar-Striped ? It'd be pretty funny to fill your graveyard and exile the larger creatures to add counters to your attackers.

A bit low on land there. You need some to at least cast your ramp.

Commune with the Gods seems good.

The Deadly Recluse just seems to be a wall. I would recommend removing him for the lands, or if you truly feel like it, the almighty Sedge Scorpion .

4 Jarad seems excessive. Maybe 2 or 3? Perhaps some sort of trample enabler in it's place, like Nylea?

I was wondering when grave decks might come back a bit.

Check mine out, Grave Power

Fun deck. +1.

I agree that Lotleth Troll is probably a good idea. Also, a one-of Whip of Erebos is probably awesome in this deck.

@GamerSonX I think you can only do it on your own decks, just click "Remove".

You guys are right about Lotleth Troll , very scary when equipped with Nighthowler !

Cut a couple of Jarad for two more lands as well.

The Whip is gonna end up in my graveyard too often--Jarad is kind of serving the same purpose, and there are plenty of Whip decks right now. It would be good, though :)

Should play a 3-of or 2-of something else to help fill the bin, like Jarad's Orders or Drown in Filth

Love the deck! (+1)As I'm new to Magic, I'm not sure what Duress would be sided in for and why Devour Flesh is sideboarded over Doom Blade . Also, why so little lands?

Nigeltastic says... #18

I would vote for Putrefy or Abrupt Decay in the side rather than Devour Flesh unless you're going to be casting it on yourself to gain life. Doom Blade has far too many useless cases IMO, and if you're in Golgari colors already might as well do Putrefy .

@Banthony245 22 lands is pretty much the standard amount of lands.

Love the deck idea, quite similar to the deck I've been designing G/B-Gravedigging. I would suggest taking out 2 Shadowborn Demon considering your hand to grave isn't extremely fast. You can then make the standard 24 lands.

However, if the demons are there for removal I would still suggest removing 2 and possibly adding a little other removal. +1

I'd make room for 3 Putrefy mainboarded, a well placed kill spell does change everything.

(maybe drop 1 Korozda Guildmage , 1 Sylvan Caryatid , and 1 Nighthowler )

Also, been testing this with a slight tweak (didn't have caryatids) so i've been running Gyre Sage over them....they become pretty adorable beaters at the cost of not having the extra mana immediately.

I ran this same deck design in the last rotation, but I've been trying to find a way to bring it back! Looks like this is a pretty solid deck. +1

I came up with this deck instead Ghostride the Whip When I couldn't find a way to make yours work.
