Cabal Coffers and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx could help with mana

Would recommend some of the cards found here:

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/drown-the-soul/

That said, obligatory Deserted Temple suggestion. Would also recommend Temporal Extortion, Bubbling Muck, remove Polluted Mire and Barren Moor for 2 more swamps, removed Ichorclaw Myr and Oona's Prowler for more sorceries such as Yawgmoth's Will and Damnation (or Crux of Fate if money is an issue)

love the advice.but in tiny leader. only cards with converted mana cost 3 or less are allowed. so only Deserted Temple and Bubbling Muck are allowed and Yawgmoth's Will is banned in the format

Must be some strange bizarre format, never heard of it.

it's new. it was created in 2013 and it's basicly edh but 50 cards, only 3 mana or less and it's meant 1v1 and life total is 25 and no commander damage aswell.

The 50 card thing might actually skew the game immensely, but it could be interesting. Wish ya luck.

Running Slaughter Pact over Doom Blade? I can see why but perhaps it's not worth it. Have you considered things like Gatekeeper of Malakir that serve double duty? I worry about you losing to aggro decks.Drown in Sorrow may be a worthy inclusion.

ChiefBell I could run Malicious Affliction instead of Slaughter Pact. does the same as Doom Blade but has has morbid. so I have the option to kill 3 non-black creatures instead of 2. (with my commander on the field)

but I don't know what to take out for Gatekeeper of Malakir or Drown in Sorrow.I really want to keep my instants like they are now so that I can (ab)use my commander's ability.what would you take out?

Didn't realise it was only instants. Yeh Malicious Affliction is good. Very good in fact. I mean, given your commander I would want to see around 17 instants (around 1/3rd of the deck). To really capitalise on it.

Have you considered perhaps cutting things like Waste Not, Liliana's Caress etc in favour of more instants. Then perhaps running a really good creature win condition. Something for 3 mana with a decent toughness and maybe hexproof or regenerate or something.

the biggest/best threat I could find on gatherer.wizards is Nyxathid. wich I already play.

I know with only 11 instants. I don't really abuse my commander's ability. but during some playtesting. I felt I was lacking in damage. that's why I play Liliana's Caress, The Rack and Shrieking Afflictionbut yeah, I could replace Waste Not Necrogen Mists for more instants.

thanks a lot man.now it's a bit more updated on win conditions and now it looks better. i'm gonna use Mishra's Factory as manland budgetwise. when I can get one. I wil replace it with Mutavault. that would fit better with Pack Rat :p don't wont to run to much colerless land. because a lot of spells require double black.

I really like this now. Looks like it can be pretty effective. Good luck!

Many people, too many who play tiny leaders are playing the geist route. I like the gatekeeper as an answer for that. I like the general direction of the deck, as I made a grixis deck with a similar general idea. I may also put nyx in my grixis, but I know already that he'll be in my competitive golgari deck using varolz as a general, because I think that dredge may wind up being the most competitive way to go. I like this, though. Leyline my ass. +1

I might suggest finding room for Geralf's Messenger in your creature suite. You can kill it for value, and when you do it turns on morbid.

He speaks truth. Normally, I don't like triple colored spells in mutli colored decks. But, this is a mono black. You might also consider more board wipes. Smallpox is fun for single removal, but perhaps Toxic Deluge or Drown in Sorrow? Also , I love Unearth in this format.

January 28, 2015 7:14 a.m.

dantekratos says... #20

Toxic Deluge sounds interesting but I prefer Black Sun's Zenith because it shuffles back. and unless I play vs a doran i would have enough mana for it.Unearth also is very good but I have no idea what to get out for it.what would you take out malfeischylde?

January 29, 2015 5:01 p.m.

malfeischylde says... #21

Possibly Cathedral of War. It comes out tapped, you're obviously not counting on the exalted, as it is the only one in your deck, and it taps for colorless mana. It's really not a good fit in here, anyway.

Not sure what your budget is, but Liliana of the Veil comes to mind immediately, along with Shrieking Affliction.

Nice deck! But I would put Sign in Blood instead of Night's Whisper, as you can use it also as a finisher ;)
