Turn to the supernatural, both good and evil, to attain power over life and death.

The game plan is to whittle at your opponents health while you stall by discouraging them from attacking you. Basically just tax them until you get a win-con out.

It seems fitting that 4 of the 5 wincons can be activated by summoning Obzedat, Ghost Council . This commander does his job well.
