Maybeboard

Chances are, I'll never own this deck, which seemed like the perfect reason to completely foil it out. But hey, if I ever come across thousands of dollars I could only spend on Magic cards, that could change.

This deck is basically the combination of a couple unorthodox strategies: draw control with Lantern of Insight, Codex Shredder, and Ghoulcaller's Bell, and a damage-based win through Jinxed Choker and Power Conduit.

Then there are the Pillow Fort-esque cards that support them: Glacial Chasm and Ensnaring Bridge.

First off, Glacial Chasm supports either combo, while Ensnaring Bridge only works for Lantern Control (as it doesn't prevent damage dealt by Choker). As a land, Chasm is relatively easy to tutor for and recur, but has much steeper drawbacks. Bridge is a great draw but can only be found by Ancient Stirrings. It does, however, let you attack. Even if you're hellbent, Unyaro Bees can seal the deal by pumping it after declaring your attack.

It's important to note that even with Power Conduit, Chasm will eventually kill you unless you sac it to Zuran Orb. From there, it can be recurred repeatedly by Crucible of Worlds or Life from the Loam, and that's where our general comes in. Once you're sacking multiple lands, gaining a ton of life, and replaying said lands, you're in a good spot.

Azusa, Lost but Seeking + Crucible of Worlds turns fetches into ramp and Wasteland into a nightmare.

Maze of Ith + Thespian's Stage + Crawlspace lets nobody through.

Thespian's Stage + Dark Depths = Marit Lage coming to town.

Green Sun's Zenith + Dryad Arbor makes for ramp strong enough to warrant a Modern banning.

Despite technically being symmetrical, Horn of Greed wins the game.

Life from the Loam and the milling artifacts can make for a quick loss in a format with a 49-card main deck, so Gaea's Blessing is a must.

Courser of Kruphix is like one third Lantern, one third Oracle of Mul Daya, and one third Grazing Gladehart. Amazing!

Realms Uncharted has a super high power level. In this deck, it finds Dark Depths, Glacial Chasm, Petrified Field and Thespian's Stage to create a lose-lose situation for the opponent.

In this deck, Nissa, Vastwood Seer   can come down turn 3 AND FLIP IN THE SAME TURN.

Unyaro Bees looks weak, but it combines evasion and strong pumping to quickly end games.

Song of the Dryads is a versatile, Path to Exile-like removal spell.

Constant Mists can Fog forever, and Sprout Swarm, well... sprouts swarms.

This deck does not hesitate to combo out multiple opponents or Fog them in their tracks, and a couple cards in the list are somewhat political. The mill combo might take a hit in multiplayer, but I think this deck would do well in that scene nonetheless!

I'm still working on improving/streamlining this deck, so let me know what you think! I'd like it to be as evil as possible >:)
